This has never happened to me in Reach so I don’t expect it to happen in Halo 4.
Besides the player could just run away. 
I dont see that as trolling -_- If you decide tos tick someone that are close to you, and then just stand there, watching you deserve to die. Anyways i doubt the will happen often
This isn’t new and this isn’t trolling.
Sounds pretty handy for those “up-close-stickers”, who stick you whenever you get close to them.

This has never happened to me in Reach and most people I play wiith use Sprint as their AA. So I can’t imagine it becoming a major problem in H4.
No. Trolling would be hitting your teammate with a sticky launcher and having HIM run into the enemy.
…Actually, that’d be a great tactic against someone camping with a shotgun.
People tried to do it to me in Reach and I tried to do it to them but it isn’t really that big of a deal and it is also an achievement in Anniversary.
I personally don’t foresee this being an issue. If it was, It would have already been recognized in reach since sprint was the oct used armor ability.

It was much easier to do both back in CE as the fuse on the stickies in CE is about 3 seconds… Ah those were laughable kills… ARE laughable kills.

They would have all the right to cause I know if there that close then its on the grenade spammer for noobing things up in a gun fight that he/she gets killed by his own actions
I make sure to do one of the following
1- get the thrower
2- get clear of friendlys
3- run to enemy vehicle -epic-
4- run/WALK to enemy group to have his grenade betray somebody always hilarious to get that noob booted “FAIR GAME” -note may not work without AL-
5- if using tactic 2 get in direction of a Power weapon to move its location via explosion

Times like these make me laugh when I’m playing Halo and I’m usually always in a competitive mindset. On the other side, watching the panic on the receiver is just brilliant.

I’m sure that 343i would shorten the detonation of the grenade if it were a problem. One can then, simply evade such attacks by running to the side. Besides, “trolling” is technically referred to as griefing within video games, and it wouldn’t be considered that either way as it is only taking advantage of a game’s innate flaw.

Done that with sticky grenades in Reach and 3, will continue to do it in 4
