So, very recently, players in Warzone Firefight (PvE) have discovered that they can destroy other players vehicles with specific vehicles that use thrust. I.E. the Phaeton and Wraith. Now typically they will do this when you’re in a scorpion, and sometimes if you’re sitting at the top of the list, then they get especially salty. This has actually happened to me on two occasions, once when I spawned in the middle(almost end of the match, I lost two scorpion reqs because of this and once I realised it wasn’t going to end I had to leave the match to which I of course take the penalty), and another today. I only have one video proving this and of course it only recorded the last time it was done and not the whole time, unfortunately. Of course I am defenseless against this especially in a tank. Now, specifically what they do is get real close to you’re vehicle and spam the thrust button, which will cause extensive damage to your vehicle while theirs remains perfectly fine, which doesn’t even make sense anyway because I barely bump a vehicle against an that’s part of the map and it will take damage so, how are they damaging my Req and not theirs? I’d like to point out that if I had purchased a req pack with real money, then they would in fact be cheating me out of money. I hope that everyone can see how toxic this is. The sad part about this is that the game does not recognize this kind of team killing/Req destroying behavior as such and therefore the perpetrators receive no penalty or betrayal booting, how convenient. Yes, of course I can report the players for bad behavior and i have, but I’d appreciate a counter measure or some advice on how to deal with this when it happens. Feel free to check out my video regarding this topic, I wish there was an option for me to attach videos to both this threat and when I report for this kind of betrayal. I honestly wish that there was a single player mode for FF(without the custom game mode glitch, yes I know about it but the whole point is to get EXP, right?) Truth be told I really don’t need a team of people in warzone firefight I could do it all myself with as many Req weapons that I have stocked up on, because I use my magnum mostly or I hop into a vehicle so to avoid being ran over by my team mates l, smh.

I’ve actually got very good at not being flipped now. If possible steer in the opposited direction to the flipping vehicle (pun unintended), though i do appreciate it’s a bit tricky in a scorpion, which doesn’t obey any known laws of physics at the best of times.
Also block them, then you need never play with them again.

That’s been a known thing for a long time, but it’s not that common for people to do it. Nothing you can really do when playing by yourself except to report and block them.

BTW please don’t think i was denying it happened to you. I did misread your original post and missed your main point about it being the thrust that does the damage.

Thanks guys, it sucks that this cost me two REQS but thankfully i earn my REQ points without paying money. I think is should go without saying that 343 should work on making sure this sort of thing doesn’t happen. Obviously i will report people who do this in the future as well as block them. As i have said before though its a preference and should be an option for me to play alone in Warzone Firefight. I’m fully capable of doing it by myself especially with the copious amount of REQ weapons i’ve stocked up on.
Yes i know you can glitch the game in forge but i’m talking about being able to earn XP, in fact you should get more XP by yourself than you would with CO-OP.

Well, let’s hope a monitor/dev. sees the clip in this post and bans them. Also in a related note I recently played the ODST game mode on Halo 5, I was steaming the whole session thankfully, however, there was this situation where this player kept team killing me and other players for the entire match for no reason, I had to at some point return fire because it was not only costing us the game, but obviously very frustrating. I was always under the impression that Team killing was an automatic boot after so many times. I’ve been booted in the past for it when Team killing after being team killed. Why is it that 343 doesn’t enforce team killing better? And why is it that friendly fire is even a thing in Team based modes in Social games as well as ranked games. Literally the whole point of the “Red vs Blue” method is to prevent that. Otherwise it becomes a free for all. Thankfully it was all on my stream which I can pull up. Yes you will see me Tk this guy but only for defensive purposes for myself and team mates. In my opinion he violated ROE against his own team. Yes I reported him multiple times, nothing happened, also guys I’d like to point out that blocking doesn’t remove people from the game or keep you from playing with them, it jus keeps them from communicating with you. That’s it.
I also would like to emphasize that, for a game that really stresses the importance of KD ratio, it seems kind of a moot point to include even the option to team kill, either by conventional means or by mowing down your team mates with vehicles. My KD is horrible and that’s usually the result of players team killing me, which has effected my Win/Loss ratio as well, I feel I can hold 343 responsible for that since it doesn’t matter how good I am at the game, in the end someone on my team is going to team kill me, either because they are a troll or they are on a surf account after reaching max rank, and have nothing better to do but to be disruptive to other players. Reporting and blocking, again, has done nothing in the past. I guess from the others perspective I’m doing alot of unnecessary complaining but I am frustrated. It’s already a long road and hard fight to get to max rank in such a short amount of time, it’s widely unnecessary for the team killing.

I wouldn’t bet on it. It has been done to me. Maybe it’s only void’s tear or something.

Were you out of the vehicle? Sometimes grunts will snipe you with them. Ill have to try it.
My cellphone doesn’t let me copy the link, but It was very common in legendary ff for me when I played it like crazy. Even players that are very good slayers in wz killed me and destroyed my vehicles when they cannot get first place, always the same case. I was winning by many IA kills and this bad losers betrayed me or push my vehicles for the entire game. The worst day I had on ff was one where one 151 level dude destroyed 5 of my vehicles with a helios, just because I always was first place vs him.
Other rare case I saw twice was that dudes were losing first place and they betrayed 3 dudes and they didn’t take them out . But they refuse to leave the game by themselves
