New Flight Invites for Infinite

I was curious if there would be a second round of invites for the next Infinite Preview this coming weekend? I have been on Halo Insider for years now with all of my flighting information up-to-date as I used to play the MCC flights, but did not get an invite to the first flight for Infinite, so I was wondering if they will send out more any time soon so I could have another chance to get in on the flights this next weekend.

I was wondering the same thing. Fingers crossed we’ll receive an invite for the 9/30 flight

Made a post asking the same thing earlier and haven’t heard anything yet.

I got invited for the first flight but not this flight.
As quoted directly from 343 themselves: “all Halo Insiders with eligible accounts as of September 13 will be invited to participate

I applied in 2019 for Reach and have been in every flight since Halo 2, I updated my dxdiag and all other info before the first Infinite flight and long before the september 13 deadline as stated by 343 (clearly, since I got into the first flight), but I guess my account isn’t eligible because, why? That I didn’t update my dxdiag in time when I updated my drivers? Never had to do that before.

If you’ve been a halo insider member for years, then maybe you have to update your Flighting settings/preferences and include Halo Infinite as a game you’re willing to participate in.

But yes, they will be sending out another wave of invites for this weekends upcoming beta on 9/30 through 10/4 (I believe that anyone who was invited for the first weekend is already signed up for the second weekend) But it’s not 100% guaranteed you’ll be invited, but they acknowledged that anyone who didn’t sign up in time still has a chance.

343 posted about it on their “Multiplayer Technical Preview Overview” article posted on 9/23. In the article they said “If you ended up not registering as a Halo Insider in time, don’t worry. There’s still a chance you can make our second weekend.” This is referring to when there was a deadline to sign up for the first weekend by 9/19. They also mentioned that they may be allowing people who were invited to the first weekend to invite ONE friend to the second weekend, so if you know anyone it’s worth a try to ask.

As I said, I updated my info prior to the first Infinite flight (in July) LONG before the deadline for this flight. Actually, exactly 2 months before the deadline.

Hmm, that is interesting. I believe I signed up in late august and received an invite. I feel like Halo Insider veterans would be prioritized over brand new members. Not entirely sure if this is true or not, but maybe this flight was more directed towards console players? But idk, I’m sorry you guys haven’t received an invite yet. I feel like a broken record at this point and sorry if it comes off as annoying, but I would just double check your flight settings one more time. 343 posted a tutorial on YouTube for signing up and they talked about if you miss one little thing it could prevent you from getting an invite… the link to it is Halo Insider | Be Prepared For Flighting - YouTube

The reply from ske7ch in this post might help provide some insight. A lot of people were shafted, I personally completely forgot that I updated my PC months ago and needed to update my DXDiag in my Insider profile so the hardware info they had for me was below minimum specs. All my check marks were green and I’ve been invited to every MCC flight so I assumed everything was fine.

So what I got from briefly skimming through that post is that some 3080’s weren’t identified as 3080’s and as precaution from the last flight were a bunch of people with 900 series cards were invited in error, some invites for 3080 users may have been caught as “below minimum”? But then he also says the invites for those cases have gotten their keys (whcih I haven’t).
He also says that the flight will open up for non-Insiders next weekend so that at least gives me some hope of participating.

My insider profile is green on all parts, except for console flighting which is greyed out (because I don’t have a modern Xbox).

Basically a lot of people with 900 series Nvidia cards were invited to the first Infinite flight in error, now removed from the last flight eligibility and further flighting so anyone who says I was invited to the first flight but not the current one and has a 900 series card now knows why.

Then there were a number of people with high end cards like 3080’s and other TI variants that were just excluded from flight eligibility in another error.

And another error, people with gaming laptops who had good cards meeting the specs were excluded because the flighting eligibility system was picking up and only reading their integrated graphics card instead of their proper GPU.

From the sounds of it, anyone who was a victim of the latter two errors and had their Insider profile completely properly before September 13th should have received an invite.

Same here with my insider profile, except I assumed my profile was up to date because of those green check marks and still being invited to MCC flights. But forgot that I upgraded my PC a few months ago and had to submit a new DXdiag before September 13. Also really hoping I can get in this upcoming weekend.

I mean I have a GTX 970, so am I just screwed then?? If so that sucks. And I mean I have not updated my PC specs since I signed up, so would it still be good for me to update my DXDiag just in case? Or would that completely eliminate my chances??

I made a ticket yesterday and they ended up sending me an email with a key today. Unfortunately seems like the support page is down atm, but give it a try.
Edit: Nevermind that, I got a friend code rather than a game key. Activated it on myself so will see if that gives me the key.

Well i was invited many times. And I’m glad I’m chosen. I feel special now

I never received a Steam Flight code but the friend invite code I provided to a friend has a PC Flight Steam Code? Any idea why I did not receive the PC invite but my friend did?

Same here I got the friend invite code, but no code for myself yet, I wonder if the schedule has shifted or something.
Edit: I just got my invite email.

Huh. Interesting. I never updated my PC info when I got my new PC, completely forgot, what was listewd was my old PC with a GTX 970. I was invited to the July flight, but I updated that last week so it actually has my new system which has a 2070 Super. No invite this time around.

But forgot that I upgraded my PC a few months ago and had to submit a new DXdiag before September 13. Also really hoping I can get in this upcoming weekend.

Oh. You don’t have to, but that would be very awesome if you did.

That I didn’t update my dxdiag in time when I updated my drivers? Never had to do that before.

If you were in the first flight you have access to the second. Don’t worry about emails or codes.

> > > > > > >

A lot of people were shafted, I personally completely forgot that I updated my PC months ago and needed to update my DXDiag in my Insider profile so the hardware info they had for me was below minimum specs. All my check marks were green and I’ve been invited to every MCC flight so I assumed everything was fine.

But then he also says the invites for those cases have gotten their keys (whcih I haven’t).

If you still have that code and are willing to give it away, I would really appreciate being able to use it.
