Loadouts- From what I’m getting, you choose a mid-tier weapon (AR, BR, DMR, hopefully-not-but-possibly Shotgun) and a sidearm (magnum, plasma pistol, new additions), as well as whatever kind of grenade you want. Power weapons, like Rockets and Snipers, are gotten from spawns on the map- thats what people fight for. How often do you see people claw at each others throats for a plasma rifle? AAs are the same as Reach, you just choose SPECIFICALLY from the whole list, rather than omitting two. Who knows, you might also get only one loadout per game.
Random weapon spawns- Control of certain weapons has been a pivotal point to the series. This changes the system so people don’t just sit on the sniper spawn the whole time. This can change strategy, but learning and controlling the drop points is still important.
Instant spawn- This feature does concern me. For being more like other games, Halo 4 (possibly, we aren’t entirely sure yet) fails to realize that even CoD has spawn timers for objective game modes. That said, Coming across the person you just killed before your shields recharge is highly unlikely. The maps are either spread out enough so that they have to trek across the map to find you, or are tight enough together that you’ll come across another player on their team first.
Spartan points- Give us few options of game-changing factors to select from, and make them cheap, so that newer players can get them faster. Then make us spend them on armor so our Spartan IV can look pretty. And change the name (which is entirely possible- Warhouse isn’t even the final name of that map yet)
Spartan Ops- Change the name. Seriously.
Sprint- It was MADE so you can escape death. If they’re running away from you, chase after them- you can sprint too. If you’re a sniper, just wait on a new target- you’re probably not in any immediate danger, and if you are, focus on that.
X-Ray vision- Make it basically a solid blue screen that shows nothing but outlines of enemies, like VISR, that lasts for a short time and has a long recharge.
Jet Pack- Give it not real jet pack capabilities, but rather, it gives you a small boost on your jumps to make them a little higher and floatier, like Dark Troopers in Star Wars Battlefront.
If you’ll just open your mind, step back, and think for a moment, rather than just blindly attack everything, you may realize that these are different, but that doesn’t mean bad. If it does copy from Reach, who says they won’t try to fix it?
