I think we all know about the new features in Halo 4 such as ordinance drops, specs and support upgrades, and of course customizable loadouts.
Now while I personally like these features and can see how the more purist halo fan would not calling these new features copies of other fps is illogical.
Sure they are taking ideas present in a plethora of other FPS but these all have a twist on them that makes these features from other FPS unique in the halo 4 or rather halo type of style just the fact that halo is a arena shooter offers interesting possibility for these features that have been previously added in non-arena FPS
Let’s start with ordinance drops we all know they have been constantly equated to kill streaks but first of all this is inaccurate a kill streak means you get a reward for getting a certain number of kills without dieing and these kill streaks stack on
ordinance drops aren’t like this ordinance drops is a little reward that you get for getting five kills in general not five kills without dieing and they do not stack so while i think you can get multiple drops in a life you cant get 10 kills without dieing and get a better ordinance drop therefore nothing like kill streaks either the enemy or an ally is capable of taking from you that is either a power up or a power weapon depending on the game type and map which is probably the most important difference between kill streaks and ordinance drops is that they differ on map and game type or at least game type
