New EXP progression after weekly challenges, Spreadsheet

Hello my dudes,
I just made a spreadsheet to see where we are right now with the new progression system, comparing it to the “50xp a game up to 50 games”-hotfix and the release system.

inb4 “it’s just beta” and “just play for fun”

Let’s be honest, no one should grind games for 50 exp each, but when the only alternative is to pay money to unlock level-ups (or wait for more challenges, or play the game without any exp gain), I’ll do it.
I want that Halo 2 Master Chief helmet, and I am not paying more than the 10 bucks for the battlepass to get it.

I took the new system from here: Lol, I can’t add a .png or a link

Not sure if there will still be that 50 games limit a day, but we will see. If I made a mistake (apart from wasting my time on this) let me know.

What I am taking away from this:
If you play 10 games a day with the new system you’ll have gained 100 exp more than you’d have in the release system, but 700 exp more than the “hotfix”-system. So it kinda fixed the fix, I guess.
If you play 50 games a day (i know, i know) you’ll gain a new maximum of 3200 exp, compared to 2500 exp from the “hotfix”-system and 2000 exp from the release system. Not a huge jump for me, but it is yet to see if it is still capped at 50 games a day.

For me it’s a case of “This ain’t it chief”, but perhaps I already have brain damage after 100 hours on steam, and 70ish hours ingame. The winning move should be to wait until the system is less rigged against the player. But I’m also a boomer, having played Halo CE on that old bricky Xbox 20 years ago, perhaps I should go with the trend.

Here’s the spreadsheet: Lol, I can’t add a .png or a link

All the best guys, and stay healthy. And sorry for the -Yoink!-.

I think the takeaway here is you’re right, they fixed the fix, which I think was their intention because they’ve said their reasoning for this week is they weren’t seeing the XP results they expected.

It’s a far cry from a fully featured system, but we’ll hopefully get that in time. As promised.
