Unfortunately there is no new armors, which I wasn’t expecting either. But there is some quite cool skins, which you can see ☞ here. I especially like the Venator skin which I think look amazing, and also the DMR skin. So what are you thoughts, are you dissapointed/excited, maybe you wanted/expected something else? Discuss ☟
I’d have liked this as a micro transaction, cause I’m not buying a toy.
But besides that. I think they look awesome, and yes, the vector skin looks amazing. Assault rifle skin look sweet, and I’m glad they’ve finally got an SR skin now. At least, as of October. I’ll guess I’ll just be sticking to my prime and arctic skins.
Hopefully codes will be sold separately on amazon or somethin…
I would hate to miss out on these cause they’re just plain cool.
> It’s a cash grab in my opinion. Those toys cost about $15, way more room for profit than putting them on the Marketplace for, like, 80-100 MSP each.
You still need to sell the toys too, I think that’s why they give those codes with 'em.
I hope 343 will release them separately later on XBL Marketplace.

The previous series had no trouble selling, now they are just putting in codes that will make them sell faster and if you don’t act fast enough, you’re -Yoink- out of luck and won’t likely get a code unless you hound the Giveaway thread or want to pay on eBay.

They don’t have to put codes for skins in $15 action figures. Could’ve put them up on the Marketplace for way less and made them available to everyone with LIVE instead of whoever was lucky enough to get said toy when it was in stock. That would’ve made money too.

Don’t they know Halo 4 isn’t going to have any players in October? Just saying but they should be launched sooner, cause with current trends even Halo 3 is starting to beat 4 in numbers.

Funny thing is that Microsoft would probably get more money doing microtransactions. Since they are selling it with the toys, it would most likely mean McFarlane toys would get part of the revenue made from these skins. In a sense, I would see the toy company profiting more out of this. Cash grab or not, you cannot condemn a company trying to make money. The majority of the human race are greedy folks and will do everything possible to earn as much as they can.
@Agera911, Halo 3 is still nowhere close to beating Halo 4.
I’m in tears of joy. The Storm Rifle has a skin, and the DMR skin is blue. Matches my armor color. BTW, i’m looking forward into buying all the figures, just for the codes.
I agree October is quite far away seeing as the population is slowly declimbing, but who knows what may happen after the update, the population might raise/lower, it’s just a matter of time. An important thing for 343 is to announce it big, to reach as many as possible outside the game too.

What I meant is that Halo 4 won’t have a population by October… I doubt June 3rd is going to be bring back a vast number of players, and soon after it will begin to decline again.
Also that by October Halo 4’s population could be lower than 3’s. I didn’t mean to say it is currently lower than 3’s popluation, that was just a mess up in my typing.
I really want the new Venator and Scout skins, but I feel like I would never purchase a toy to get them… I want micro-transactions!
I don’t look at this as a cash grab. I get the toy that I place on my dresser, and I get a bonus add on for the game the toy is for. Before you didn’t get anything but the toy so for me, this is nothing more but a value add.
