New Equipment Ideas #2

I love the equipment in Infinite, but I just want MOAR is all.

Unlike a lot of people I don’t like the idea of them adding in equipment that is absurdly OP or just downright awful gameplay wise, so I did put some thought into all of these.

Antigen-Shock based equipment. Okay Harbinger/Skimmers utilize shock based weaponry, I think it would be neat if there was a piece of equipment that did this also. It would essentially just be an AoE effect that stops the regen of shield. Unlike the stupid regen field that just prolonged fights this one is meant to speed them up. I imagine this would be used on certain areas to make retreating less practical, thus forcing plays.

Teleporter-I think everyone misses these somewhat. How to balance something this powerful is the question. I feel that obviously you’d start with 2 (point A and point B) and it would have to only remain open for a set period of time (30 seconds to 1 minute) otherwise this would just be ridiculous where your playing BTB and there are like a dozen portals everywhere.

The Ladder-I’ve already talked about this before, but I still think this would work well so I’ll mention it. Its basically just something that spawns small platforms that other spartans can use, nothing too fancy here.

Groundpound/Jetpack ability-this is the one that Tremonious used in the Campaign, very similar to what we had in Halo 5 but the difference is that it sends you up in the air a bit. I personally think this would be super weak in terms of combat, but if players could cancel it they could use it for high jumps or something so would never be useless exactly.

So basically I’ve came up with one for every faction :ok_hand:
