Ok, I’ve seen some of the new emblem designs, and they’re alright, but they’re definitely not my favorite. I would really hope that they could make it so you could design your own emblem, I mean, it wouldn’t be that hard. The color scheme should be better too, I don’t want to just change 2 or 3 colors on my emblem, I want to change the whole thing. With fully customizable emblems, I probably wouldn’t come across some other guy with the same exact thing. If they don’t do this, it doesn’t really matter to me, so far I haven’t played with someone with the same exact emblem.
I just want to be able to have my flaming grunt emblem back!
Its easily abused, and the simplicity of the emblems make it feel more halo-ish. But i do agree the ones we have been shown so far are not that great.

How would it be abused?
If im correct, you still have your typical emblems like what we have seen in previous Halos. Also now I believe youll unlock pieces to new embelms that can be customized to your liking. I might be a little shy from the truth on this though. The emblems dont matter that much to me.
The amount of colors you have to choose from is somewhere around 30 if I remember correctly.
I’d rather have the emblems that comes with the game. People would create emblems that has nothing to do with Halo. Maby some people like that but I don’t.
Did they take out the flames and/or the small skull? The flaming skull was my emblem forever, never changed it once. I might cry if it’s gone.
Do me a favour, go over and play Call of Duty: Black Ops.
THEN play for an hour and right down every time you see an inappropriate emblem.
Not bashing on it because it was fun but just saying… too much freedom is a no-no.

I disagree with fully customisable emblems, as it would just be like Black Ops, having every so often a swastika or some sexual image.
I’d like if we could have the emblems from before, but I’m open to having new emblems to play with.
I really like customizable emblems such as CoD Black Ops, where you could make just about anything you want. However, in that game some of the emblems I see are completely vulgar, probably made by some Teen trying to be funny. So I will have to stay with the simple emblems of Halo.

Giving people custom control over their emblems? Ever played COD? Or seen BF3 platoon emblems?
It doesn’t bother me, but XBL is full of children. I can see people getting outraged now. No way Microsoft is going to spend $$ managing that system.

Do you mean someone would draw something inappropriate? This game will probably be rated M, online interactions aren’t rated, people already try to draw inappropriate things, and when you try to limit the emblems, it just makes it harder to have awesome emblems.
Just because kids can pick up this game that they’re not supposed to be playing in the first place without adult supervision doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be able to have freedoms like this.

Abusage of the system will lead to the system being removed or altered, to the disappointment of everyone else.

It’d be great if we could have an emblem creator, as you could even make this Emblem, but the less mature players (not necessarily children) will create stupid useless crap, if you want an example just type “Black Ops Emblems” into Google and I bet you will see plenty of sexual emblems and a swastika or two.
