Is that a Spec Ops or Stealth Elite or a new Elite in the Halo CEA trailer? It has the appearance of a Spec Ops/Ultra but is named Stealth. Is this some new armor for the stealth elites? Is looks like Spec Ops configuration with a white coating like an Ultra and does this Elite have anything to do with the blue stealth Elites in Halo 2/Wars?
It is a Stealth Elite. In the original Halo CE the stealth Elites were a light/pale blue colour. They have now changed their armour to the Reach Spec Ops Armour.

yeah but refering to the encyclopedia, there’s a difference between stealth and spec ops elite.
Spec Ops will probably have the same armour as Stealth but black in colour.

Stealth Elites are purely used for stealth operations and use active camo all the time. Special Ops Elites are sent on high value missions (Like when you first play as the Arbiter in Halo 2, there are Special Ops Elites fighting along side you). Stealth Elites wore light blue armour in Halo CE and Black armour in Halo 2. Spec Ops Elites wore dark purple or maroon/dark redish armour (Halo Reach).
343 just decided that they wanted the Stealth Elite to look a bit different to the rest of the Elites in Halo CEA. The Spec Ops Elites will probably look like the Reach Elites.
