New Easter Eggs?!?!

What do you think? Could there be new unfound easter eggs beyond the maps?

Well, it took 7 years to find the Happy Birthday Lauren Easter Egg in Halo 3 (which is a weird coincidence), so it is not so crazy to think there are a few more undiscovered Easter Eggs.

Call it a conspiracy, but I think Bungie hid an Easter Egg that would activate in 2089 when a player connects to Xbox Live. The final cutscene with Halsey narrating how Noble 6 played a big role in saving humanity takes place in 2589 I believe, so it 2089 would be an appropriate date for a timed Easter egg. I myself highly doubt anything like this exists in the game, but it’s nonetheless fun to believe such an Easter egg could be present. Plus, Bungie being Bungie, it wouldn’t surprise me if they did this.

When you complete Halo: Reach on Legendary in 2089, finish watching the end credits, play through Lone Wolf, and watch the speech Dr. Halsey makes, a new cutscene will appear with Noble Six emerging from a cave :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

“Sike, the lore was a lie! The conspiracy theorists had it right all along. Happy Bungie Day!”

There’s actually an IOHBOY in the files for the Halo 2 mission Regret that’s yet to be found, so we already know of one.

I feel like that would be a bit far fetched to be honest, lol.

Really?!?! I didn’t know that. I hope they can find it soon. It would be an Easter egg that hasn’t been found in 16 years!

No worries! Not the easiest thing to convey deeper intent than what is on the surface through text. It’s fun to have insane theories like this one.
