I’ve been playing Big Team Battle and it actually feels like Halo 2 again which was an amazing feeling inside. Hang Em High, Headlong and the new forest map are absolutlely perfect for Big Team Battles. Capture the flag was so much fun. It was 8 vs 8 mayhem.
Anyone else think the new DLC is amazing?
Also remember 343 promised even more maps if the game sells well, so please go out and buy it.

in my opinion, the best thing since halo 2 is halo 2.

I’m not really digging the Beaver Creek remake which upsets me because I LOVED that map.
Other than that, the maps to me have no flow to me, even the new Firefight map. It’s just WAY too small and a huge clutter mess and pointless to have a Hog and 2 Mongoose vehicles.
I’m still waiting for a perfect remake of Midship.
I give it a 5/10. 5 only because of the graphics. Other than that… MEH.

remember, it’s just MY opinion.
What I remember about Beaver Creek is not this in the playlist. I understand perfect remakes on maps are nostalgia but still. A little more light on this map and making it bigger WIDTH wise wouldn’t hurt.
It’s just way too small and dark.

I literally almost died of nostalgia last night. It was amazing. Timberland plays so well with vehicles, and the Classic Anniversary settings with 3 shot pistol are flawless. Multiplayer has never felt better.

That is how I felt last night also. It felt like Halo again. The classic playlist was the cats meow. Timberland was and is a great map. The faster kill times. I just can’t stop. I am 31 yrs old and I felt like a kid in a candy store last night.

Not quite, the jump height/gravity isn’t correct, and they need to find a way to reduce the spread on the pistol AND remove the visual aspect of bloom. I know they can fix the jump settings, so all we can do is hope there’s a way to fix the pistol without another title update. Everything else about it is great though.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying “dying from nostalgia.”
Timberland is not really all that good, way too many bumps, hills and uneven landscaping for Reach’s uber light weight Hog’s to travel.
Jump Height/Gravity are just terrible, I feel like an overweight spartan.
They need to remove bloom, it’s getting old.
Best time I’ve had on Halo Reach ever and best since Halo 2. These Anniversary playlists are the best ever, I’ve been playing for hours and hours. I’m addicted to these new maps. 343 have really improved Bungie’s product and showed them how it needs to be done.
