oh you mean like supplemental things? Yea I love that idea. I rocked the katana in Halo 3. Maybe the difficulty shields or the machetes since they’ve never been properly in the game. I could also see enemy related trophies like a promethean blade
I’d also like for them to bring back the leg/wrist customizations as well like the soft case or tacpad. Those were small touches, but I loved them all the same.
Really kind of an interesting idea! I wouldn’t want to see armor effects back, though, despite my using the legendary flame the entirety of my time in Reach. Cortana’s capsule, or the nuke from ‘Midnight’ would be really cool idea.
I’d love to see the epic Halo 3’s Katana to make a return, different kind of combat knives for assasinations perhaps ? For elites some epic armor like the Arbiter armour.

Fantastic idea! I like the idea of further decorating the spartans!
I’m also wondering if they will have customizable voice options since the spartans talk to each other now.
Can the reach ghillie material be an option, because I loved that thing.

that was cool, but it’d be great if they could make it a bit longer so it was more noticeable.

that’s assuming the elites are even playable in Halo 5 multiplayer (which I hope they are.)
It’d definitely be nice to have more ammo pouches, bandoleers, etc. Halo: Reach had some really neat tactical gear that didn’t get much love in Halo 4.
