We need a new system for custom game that allows immensely more setting manipulation than is currently allowed. We have the greatest game in years, has some issues and flaws, but the biggest problem is the custom matches. It’s nearly an insult to call it ‘Custom’, starting supply, starting power, fog of war, leader powers, unit ability cooldown, and the skulls change the game in very minuscule ways. Let’s implement some serious game changing settings, I’m talking individual unit stats (health, speed, cost, build time, unit population cost, number of unit allowed, shield amount, tech tier requirement) let’s see some alterations to base health, turret damage, costs for upgrades, unit restrictions, leader power restrictions, individual leader power strength and cost. Let’s get a rule that restricts attacking for a set amount of time, let’s get rules to alter population, power and supply generation rate. I’m sure there’s dozens more that can be suggested. These games are getting EXTREMLY repetitive, same units, same heros, same rush. Let’s make a truly customizable experience to fit a certain groups desire. The trend lately is for video games to let us make our own route and do it our way, imagine the popularity you could gain and regain from advertising a huge custom match system. Battle Field has it, every other Halo has it, Gears has it, so why doesn’t Halo Wars 2? I’m fairly positive it would be fairly simple, and I’m starting to question why it didn’t come base game. Let’s get this popular and get this seen, community, let’s choose our own game to experience a halo wars match with friends that has all the crap removed and a glistening gem of spectacular war showing.
That would be a crazy amount of customization, do other modern RTS games have this much customization?

If you can call it that, just much more customizing for custom games.
I Would like More control over teams with a Team 3 and 4 option.

You COULD just mod the game if you REALLY wanted to. You know what they say, if you want something done do it yourself
