One invisible hunter with probably a sword, hunting everyone else who are perfectly visible.
I created a game type that would work perfectly with Infection (whenever Infection is released) called “Hide and Pound.” Essentially, one player is the seeker and the other player(s) are the hiders. The seeker must find and melee the hider(s), at which point the hider(s) must stop moving and allow themselves to be ground-pounded. If there were some way of immobilizing a player once they take melee damage, it would work in a playlist, but since there isn’t, the player must voluntarily stop moving and allow themselves to be ground-pounded… so it wouldn’t work in matchmaking as-is. It’s a pretty intense game type and works best on Breakout maps.
I just had an idea for a custom game. Make an 8x8 square platform (like a chessboard) that hovers over a kill zone and script the individual squares to be destroyed after they take X amount of damage. Everyone spawns with plasma casters and max shields the game will allow. The last one standing is the winner.
Not sure if this would be fun or not, but I’m gonna try to make it later and see how it goes.
