I was reading a post on IGN and I noticed something that I was unsure about.
343 Industries’ Jessica “BS Angel” Shea confirmed to IGN at PAX East that the Competitive Skill Ranking (CSR) system will go live “early April”.
Shea also clarified that “players will start with a clean slate when CSR launches, so they can enjoy the journey of their progression.” That’s fancy talk to say that all of your stats will be set back to zero, but don’t fret.
I’m hoping that this does not mean that everyone’s normal SR would be reset (I’m SR 130) and was wondering whether anyone on here could clarify that for me.
Also, Does anyone know the release date of the title update and whether or not “Forge Islands” is part of it or whether it is a separate release alongside the title update.

Your skill will be reset in playlists, but all your other stats, including your rank, will be the same.
We don’t know for sure when the TU comes out. At PAX a few days ago, they said 1 or 2 weeks.
As for Forge Island, that comes out April 11th for sure.
As far as I know, they announced at PAX (or via Twitter around that time) that CSR was going to be live April 8th (Don’t quote me on that, however). Your per playlist skill level will be reset, but not your SR rank.
Forge Island will be available on April 11th for free.

Really glad they’re adding the CSR after hearing about it in November. Can play Halo 4 more seriously since I have a goal to work for.

Actually, bs angel said it would be coming tomorrow. They’re running behind because of PAX.

Oh well one more day to get the rank info isnt that long to wait.
Greatish news. I just wish it was today. I’m hoping the CSR will be a 1-50 but one can only hope.
