Will there every be any more content added? New reqs, maps, weapons, etc
The only new maps that might possibly be added are Forge created ones and a new REQ was just recently added, it’s the Spartan Recruit REQ Pack but most likely no new weapons will be added.

I’m not talking about packs that you have to buy with real money. I mean the ones you have to unlock with gold packs and stuff

Then the answer is no, no new REQ Cards, no new weapons or vehicles and the only new maps that will possibly be added in the future would be player created maps in Forge. 343 isn’t adding anything new to Halo 5 because they have moved on. They will only add patches to address rank systems, bugs, or weapon changes.
Also, they might add Weapon Skins or Pro Team Emblems when the HaloChampionshipSeries starts back up July 13-15 But those will have to be purchased or unlocked in a lucky REQ pack giveaway.

It seems crazy to stop pretty much all new content when Halo infinity still sounds like its years away from being completed. I can understand why they want to put all their resources they have on infinity but it sucks we won’t be getting anything fresh.

ya i figured there would be at least 1 more big update where they add a bunch of stuff since the wait for Infinite is going to be so long.
the good news is they added Community Slayer a couple days ago which is all Forge created maps, and the maps are freaking sweet…

They might have been able to squeeze in a few more things, albeit a bit more slowly, if the game’s updates and content were compressed a little better. The game’s absolutely massive.
I guess most of us will probably be looking at the MCC updates now, since some of them are working on that right now - but in Halo 5 Land the content has pretty much run its course and the most we’ll see is Forge maps and community game modes (Looking forward to Castle Wars making a return btw!)
Seems Halo Wars 2’s also run its course, since I haven’t heard of any additional DLC’s (More campaign stuff or otherwise)

We don’t know how long the wait is going to be.
I doubt it, though there is hope that they might add one or two new things in to keep us interested while waiting for infinite.
