New concept art!

Here’s some new concept art, looks cool, Here you go. Let the speculation begin!

Hm…If I were to guess I would have to say this is either

-A mining facility
-A fueling depot
-A launch site

OMG!!!

long long fart noise

Looks like a launch site, launches for similar shuttles happening in the background. Human structures. Those two moons/planets on the sky again. Another desert-like environment, same planet as in previous pieces.

Yep same planet it seems. Love it

Almost looks like a space shuttle launch site, which is weird because you wouldn’t exactly expect something like that. Especially since you can see some launching in the background.

Honestly don’t like it, doesn’t look UNSC.

Could be rebels.

Where did you find this? Great concept though I enjoy the sandy Environment that Halo 5 will seemingly have.

If it means I can shoot people or aliens on it, I don’t really care what they look :).

Do humans still use normal rockets? It seems like they’re evacuating, which may explain why they’re using rockets instead of ships.

Looks cool!

Destiny anyone?

I’m more curious whats up with those massive walls, as well as why this dustball is so important.

Before it seemed likely it was Sangehelios, but I’m sort of doubting it now, that seems like a pretty big human facility to put on the planet.

Reminds me of Mars from Destiny, which is annoying because it was the planet with the two most annoying races, the muscle-memory destroying robots and the meatier, more annoying cousins of the Kig-Yar. Bad memories.
Still, looks good. I’m inclined to think it’s not UNSC though, orange isn’t really their style. Maybe colonists or Innies.
Also, looking at the file name, “Child’s Play” could be relevant.

Over thinking but…looks like the generic orange and grey marines are coming back and not he cool army green funny marines from Halo 3 based of the colours of this UNSC ship and departure point. This concept art again suffers from Halo 4’s major problems IT’S DOMINATED BY 2 COLOURS AND THAT’S IT. Seriously 343 add some more colour of the same theme like some more yellow, blue sky and something else not just freaking orange. Again just over thinking it…

We don’t know whether it’s UNSC or not yet. Plus, I didn’t see any orange in Dawn, or Requiem, or the beginning/end of Forerunner…

That looks -Yoink!-. The theme better be used in multiplayer and campaign, or should be a palette for forge.

Why is it a modern like rocket?

They have evac ships, look at reach, they get shot out of the sky in new alexandrea. They also use the space elevators for evac, modern rockets would not really be too evasive to a covenant attack.

“Halo 5- generic rockets”, really, the rocket launcher now this.

Here’s my theory-
This is on Sanghelios, as the older concept art has the OBVIOUS Sangheili design and statues. However, the Servants of Abiding Truth (the enemy of the Arbiter, who have already lost most of the planet in the war) are getting help from the human Insurrectionists to fight each other’s wars. That would be a fun enemy to fight in Halo 5. Imagine the Covenant from Halo 3 with the classic vehicles like Phantoms and Spectres, and Revenants, Ghosts, Wraiths, and Banshees. Except there’d also be some scrappy human Insurrectionist vehicles and enemies. The Servants of Abiding Truth also have some Brute slaves, so we could see those as well.
Halo 5 could have the secondary storyline taking place with the civil war on Sanghelios. I think this would be a real fun campaign.

??? Are you sure this is from Halo and not from Destiny?
No, wait, I can see a smudge which might be a Pelican. Or not. No, definitely not. Perhaps those little black dots on the ground might be Warthogs? I’m struggling, here.
