As part of the new update for classic setting, do you think the Needle Rifle will be reworked to play more like the Carbine? By that I mean 6 shot kill, and a high enough rate of fire to BARELY pull off a faster kill time than the BR, but miss one shot and the DMR wins. As well as Supercombine removed?

Preferably, I’d like the NR to have the same kill time as the DMR. It may need a damage boost to compete, but I need to be near my Xbox to see that. It’s supposed to be the Covie’s answer to the DMR, but that doesn’t mean the gun should also be useless.
I also want the super combine to stay. Not only is it cool, it takes the same amount of body shots that the DMR needs to kill a person (Both require 3 to the gut to kill).
It may take a combination of both. But I need to get with my Xbox to see. I don’t want the DMR to be dropped because the other does the job better and vice-versa.

Well, all I know is that players usually took the BR because it was easier and more reliable to land 4 shots in a row, than 6. BUT the Carbine benefited players who were both skilled, and bold enough to use it, with a slightly faster kill if they managed to hit with every single shot.
Basically it’s just easier to hit with 4 shots than 6, so the BR was more reliable, while the Carbine was more chaotic.
