I love the fact that there are new commendations now but, it’s kinda annoying to have to “redo” them. I know the Grenade Launcher is easy to get kills with, but can’t 343i just look through our power weapons kills on Waypoint and have it count towards our progress?
yea already have 1k wasp kills and destroyed 215 of them. having to do it over again is a bit lame
or why couldnt they have added the commendations in when they added the weapons in? thats a little more frustrating. but working through them isnt all that bad. at least so far
Honestly Im cool with having to do it all over again. Gives me reason to use all these weapons…seriously, I dont think I’ve spawned in a Brute Plasma Rifle…like, ever. At all. And Wasps and Hammers are just as rare.

I just been playing BTB and Fiesta and I’ve already gotten several kills with most of the weapons. The Grunt Mech commendation has been a pain though because everyone is going all tryhard trying to get the kill for it.
Wait… The commendations got reset?
Oh I see now. Too bad it doesn’t count for the previous kills/medals… Gotta get a bunch of kills with those weapons again.
Well, weapons commendations won’t be that bad, I’m just a tad worried about the Goblin Mech Slayer commendation.
Still, if I had known, maybe I would have saved a few Wasps for the occasion.

nope. Its just a gold pack.
Does anyone know if you get a melee kil with a weappn, if it counts towards the kill commendation (like the sword)?

Killing with a melee attack while holding the Sword will count towards the Sword commendation. Sadly that isn’t the case with the other weapons. You’ll have to use the primary attack button to complete the commendations for the Hammer, Grenade Launcher, and Sentinel Beam.

Cause if you hit people in the face with the weapon you’re not actually USING it, you’re using its mass. If that makes any sense.
i like the new commendations theres finally a point spawning in a hammer or brute rifle even thou the weapons are bad
If we wouldn’t have had to redo them, they would have been pointless for me. I didn’t want new commendations just to have them be 100% upon updating the game. I’m glad we get to redo them again, I enjoy specifically using those weapons to climb the commendation ladder again.

I know the WZFF commendations awarded gold packs only.
