Omg I knew I was.t going crazy I wasted 4 challenge swaps each one kept giving me ranked.
Honestly ranked should be exclusively avoided from challenges.
Reasons being it actually is detrimental to ranked players who take that mode seriously.
For example right now I have a win stronghold games in ranked challenge. I’m out of swaps and I ain’t paying for more.( Granted I feel that’s what this systems pushes for you to do)
But let’s say I’m on a time crunch I’ma just dip out on games till I get a stronghold one. That screws over the other guys but I’m not concerned with my ranked title, I just want to get that challenge done and over with.
Or if it’s ay x amount of ranked. If the other team is better I’m not trying to fight it. It would be more efficient of I let them win faster give them kills and get my x amount of rounds done.
Putting ranked in the challenges is pretty bad overall. Maybe make it it’s own set of challenges not exclusive to the weeklies.
If anything make more daily challenges and have one be ranked related so the ranked guys can have theirs

This is exactly what I was saying, I hate aging ranked, I was trying to stay in Bronze or gold so I can have easy lobbies and my -Yoink!- got into Platinum so that’s semi try hard territory.
But yea I just go in for the chale he’s and dip which sucks for the people trying to move up. But time is money and I’m trying to get to more social Slayer challenges.

it’s annoying, but personaly i don’t really care. given how competitive infinite already is. ranked felt oddly more casual than quick play

I mean there’s also challenges that are relating to BTB, even though BTB hasn’t been working for the past week. It’s all part of 343’s business model. Better buy those challenge swaps!

Iv been forced into 12 ranked games. I hate it and then every reroll just swaps between win 2 ranked or play 4 ranked.
Such a joke tbh I hate it, game cant register hits most games so why would I play competitively… I legit do no damage some times and can get 1 hit punches when facing the player. Latency is trash atm with crossplay

Casual is not relative to any particular playlist or sbmm; casual is a state of mind that I choose when the feelings right.

All companies have some kind of continuous improvement model that is in place to make people feel like they are abiding by the core values. At the end of the day more are purely bound by revenue, the fancy plaques and amazing videos posted by people “living the company values of care” are just invested money into diverting your eyes away from the reality.
Its always about business and always about the bottom line, no matter what.
Just look at the “progressive” and “monitored” changes to the weekly quests. Now we see forced rank and for those who do not want to play ranked, they will use their swaps to find the “easier” ranked mode and play it just to get it done.
It is ALWAYS about money, there are exceptions but I doubt they are multi-million or billion dollars businesses, and if you are in a big company and you think its “core values” mean something, you are just not invited to the right meetings or not at the right level to see the truth.
Either accept the fact that nothing will stop the drive for revenue and play the game, or find something else, that is the cold hard truth that will get me hated on, down voted and banned. Why? because it is the truth…

I just connected my account to complain about forcing us to go to ranked matches. I don’t like it, I don’t feel ready, and I’m stuck with the challenges because of it. If you continue this, I won’t be buying future battle passes.
Stop crying. No one is forcing you lmao. Plus, you noobs will likely match with other noobs and you can noob it out to get your precious challenge so you can play virtual dress up. Maybe, just maybe you’ll like ranked and actually try to improve in the game instead.
Nobody’s crying, I’m in diamond too so definitely not a “noob”, many people in this thread found it to be weird that you couldn’t swap out of ranked challenges if you wanted to this week. I’ve done them all anyway, go be toxic somewhere else.
I’m looking at my roster of challenges for this week, and either I got a lucky draw, or they chose to remove Ranked Playlist Challenges.
