Hey, just like how they brought in the hybrid and light rifle scope for load out weapons, I think it would be great if they made brute scope attachments. It would go along with HW2 release, and hype up both games.
I think it would also be fitting because right now H5 lacks brute representation.

I’m honestly getting tired of having useless optics on my weapons. They may have style, but when it comes to function, the optics quite literally face-plant themselves on a regular basis.
I’ll stick with my Sentinel scope.

what do the rest of you guys think?
I love having new scopes, and new attachments too, but how they implemented the Req System makes them kinda useless. Why will I use a Hybrid, Morph or Brute scope if their respective weapons don’t have the benefit of an attachment? If you actually unlocked the Scopes and the Attachments from Req Cards, and you could apply them to all your loadout weapons, that would be awesome. Then you could have a Morph DMR with Kinetic Bolts, or an Brute BR with Energy Bayonet, or an Hybrid SMG with Laser Targeter, or a COG AR with Stabilizers… You get my point right??? No new scope has gotten the attachment treatment (and doing this with each scope variant would fill your inventory with hundreds of Loadout Weapon Req Cards, something people won’t like, because of the grind and organization problems it might bring)
What would a brute scope entail? I was under the impression that none of the previous brute weapons really had scopes. Spiker, mauler, brute shot, brute plasma rifle, gravity hammer, and whatever else I’m forgetting lol. I believe none of them had a scope. So what would a brute scope even look like?

I see. I’ve avoided Gamecheat13’s work. I don’t have a ethical problem with it, I just don’t like spoilers. I don’t even watch movie/game trailers if it can be avoided.

GameCheat13 already found some unreleased Brute Scope attachments, but I seriously hope 343i doesn’t release them. Ever. I don’t want them. We don’t need them. The Hybrid and Morph sights were completely pointless and added absolutely nothing to the game. All they do is add more clutter to the loadout selection in Warzone.
No please don’t add more useless scopes that are just there to bloat the REQ system. Same goes for those useless armour variants we’re having to unlock driving me to the point we should have customisation options for our own armour & weapon skins.
I feel as if we have too many scopes already O_O
The only new useful i can think of, is COG. It provides tactical information on your current target.
Everything else is just flash… How 'bout some proper new modifications for our weapons instead perhaps? Or even better NEW Loadout weapons for once?
Not just addtional pistols but… ACTUAL new loadout weapons. For rears and giggles. Halo 3 pistol for example, could play like the H5 magnum but consider it a nostalgia trip. H2BR works just like the H5 with minimal difference in kill time and aim assist.
Or the SMG from Halo 2 anniversary? I liked that new look it had.

Eh I’m getting tired of the useless reqs I’ll unlock to never use. Gets annoying scrolling through the req station menu

I disagree, while at first the new scopes seemed unnecessary I quickly got used to them. After that I used exclusively a hybrid scope for the br before replacing that with morph after they changed its req level. They all have their uses and personalities
A pointless gimmick that adds nothing to the game, just like the hybrid and morph sights.
