I think the only reason they rebooted it because it got low popularity.
But they didn’t improve they just made a poop version of slayer now it’s not it’s own what’s so ever

Idk if you noticed in custom games there was a Arena Breakout gamemode that is the gamemode that is being used for breakout now I would of loved if they could of just had a social playlist to test the water with people first and maybe add it in Team Arena or replace normal Breakout with the playlist if it was more popular.

i didn’t know that. I don’t play a lot of custom games but yeah a weekend of the new breakout format would have been a good idea. Also one of the reasons I love the new breakout is that those impossible breakout commendations are now possible. Another week or two and I will be 100% finished with Halo 5 commendations. That probably weighs heavily on why I like the new breakout so much.
Best part is they’ve tried full shield breakout before and scrapped it. Shotgun and that -Yoink- magnum make it worse as well. There’s also the issue of radar giving free information. 343 should’ve killed breakout if it really was low populated and then focused more attention to something that can hold a pop. Breakouts just a joke right now and I may as well play slayer, or warzone for cheap kills since there’s better versions of the shotty.

Getting the commendations is nice but I really loved breakout because it was so different from the other gamemodes.
I never played the old. I stumbled across Breakout recently and I love the crap out of it. I rarely play anything else anymore. Noob Combos and Headshots all day.
At least they are trying to do something…right, wrong or indifferent. There are certain things I like about it and certain things I hate so I’ve been on the fence about it.
I loved the old breakout. Now I cant stand it. They completely ruined the gametype.
