Saw somewhere someone complained about betrayals and asked about single betrayal boots. So I thought about this:
Melee’d to death by someone = Instant boot option
Betrayed while having a power weapon/driving a vehicle = Instant boot option
Anything else = 2 betrayals for a boot
I’m tired now so I dunno what else to add. What do you think should be changed/added to the betrayal system?
I dont know if this happens to other people but for example:
one time i had an energy sword an some guy on the other team shot me and i lost my shields then, some punk from my team decided to kill me and take my weapon but it wasnt counted as a betrayal but a kill for the guy who initially shot me
i find this to be really annoying and i hope 343 fixes it
if you betray someone that isn’t in your field of view for a certain amount of time then it should count towards getting booted.
IMO boot system is always gonna be flawed.Every time I play big team there is usually one case where a vehicle accidentally splatters a teammate who wasnt in their field of view, then they get booted. Theres also those random betrayals you get when you throw somehow kill a teammate through a wacky chain reaction…
A new boot system would be nice. Because i have had countless times where i had teamates who just kept shooting me but i never got the option to boot (team snipers). They killed me three times, ending two of my killing sprees. Then while i was aiming, just pll the trigger, teammate walks infront of my sniper rifle… I got booted because my team mate was an idiot.
One guy suggested that there be a betrayel point system. You have 2 points before you can get booted. The drop of a sheilds counts as half a point, and death is a full point. If you have a team mate who melees you everytime you see an enemy, you can boot him.
