New assassinations? (Ideas)

Well, I was kind of getting bored of seeing the same assassinations from Halo 5, so I decided to make some ideas.

You wont get me: The victim notices the assassin is behind them and turns around, and tries to stab and slice the assassin but misses. The assassin pulls a knife and stabs their neck, like the Inevitability assassination and the victim slowly falls to the ground.

Missed me: The assassin slides down the victim’s legs, and thrusts up, and punches the victim like a Shoryuken.

Fake love: The assassin hugs the victim, and stabs them in the back, and pushes them into the ground.

Last thing you’ll see: The assassin grabs the victim in the neck and forces them to look at the assassin, and the assassin stabs the victim on it’s 2 eyes.

Fireworks: The assassin plants a splinter grenade on the victim’s chest, thrusts up, and punches them like a Shoryuken, and the splinter blows up.
Well, that’s all I could imagine. Have any suggestions? Feel free to reply and tell me some!

The good 'ol traditional back-smack is all we need… 'no reason for assassinations.

That’s your opinion, but I think the assassinations animations are good. It’s your opinion and I respect it.

I love the different assassinations. It adds more variety and surprises to the game. I’m glad they added them in.

I’d love to see an assassination with the following:

  • A Spartan Charge - A body slam - A flying kick of sorts - Throwing your knife

Isn’t “Take Out The Trash” pretty much a body slam?

Stick a plasma grenade to their back, poke them.

Crouch and plug your ears, they turn to attack… boom!

Over Here, PSYCHE!

The assassin taps the right shoulder of the victim. The victim turns his head to the right as the assassin moves to the victim’s left side. The victim is confused as the assassin stabs him in the head.

So with the last thing you’ll see assassination, is that two stabs? I was a bit confused on this one…

I would like 343 to go back to rated M, just like Halo used to be! This way, they can make assassinations gory!

It’s not quite what I’m talking about; I want to see someone crush another person with their whole body weight as they plop onto their victim.

Yes, the LTYS assassination is 2 stabs in the eye. Also I want to see gory assassinations as well, but make it optional because… y’know, kids.

True. I think Call of Duty actually had this option at one point. I can’t remember if they still do. Halo was intended to be rated M. I’m not sure why they changed that. If kids want to buy a game, they’re still going to buy it either way. One way or another. I really don’t think parents care much about the game rating when it comes to video games, just movies. My mom always bought the games for me when I was younger and I also saw other kids getting their parents to buy them the game they wanted, so I’m not sure what happened here. I guess 343 prefers money over quality.

I’ve always wanted to see something like the fireworks idea. Kick the back of the knees to disable, then throw a splinter granad behind or in front of the victim, however you want to look at it. Stab them on the top of their head and kick the victim into the splinter granad so that it ends with a fiery finish.

I think I got some ideas for AI assassinations, and I wanted to share it.

Elite: The Spartan jumps over the Elite, stabs him in the back and kicks him.

Jackal: The Jackal tries to slice the Spartan with his shield, after realizing he is there, but he misses. The Spartan punches his face and the Jackal gets knocked down, and the Spartan stabs him in the eye as the Jackal is almost waking up.

Grunt: The Spartan walks sneakly, and steals the Grunt’s grenade, and plants it on him. The Spartan punches him to the front and the grenade explodes… BOOM! The Grunt birthday party effect plays. Time for party!

Knight: The Knight realizes that there is a Spartan behind him, and yells at the Spartan (opening his mask and all), and the Spartan punches his face twice, and steals the Knight’s blade, jumps to his back and stabs his core (I think that’s a core, It’s some kind of ball in his back, idk what it is actually), and the Knight desintegrates.

Soldier: The Spartan punches the Soldier’s 2 legs until they break. The Soldier is trying to get up, but can’t. As the Soldier still tries to get up, the Spartan charges his ground pound and smashes the Soldier.

Crawler: The Spartan kicks the Crawler, and he falls down. The Spartan rips the Crawler’s arms off, throws them at his chest, and kicks his head, making it get squashed into pieces.

And finally…

Watcher: The Spartan jumps, punches the Watcher down, and stabs him twice.

How about one where you unsheathe your knife, hold it horizontally, and use your arm thrusters to ram it into into your victim’s spine, sending them flying a few feet. Or maybe the victim turns to aim at you and you catch him in the gut.
Soo… the names would be…
