Is it possible to add new armor to the game via map-packs or is original armor the only selection?
I hope there is new armor Im a sr69 and I saw a helmet I have not seen before on one of the screenshots it was blue and had 3 ligths in the shape of lines. Im rockn my locus hemet but that looked cool.
Hopefully they can add more armor with Future DLC! I’d really like to see some similar to Reach and Halo 3. I’ve always used Mark VI, but I know it’s not for everyone. More variety can never hurt this game.
I don’t think they’ve ever confirmed or denied the possibility of new armour, but I’d like to think that they kept it in mind this time around.
However, if they do add new armour, they should add completely new specializations as well (with new weapon skins and visor colours), and they should be free instead of bundled with map packs. It would be unfair for those who don’t want to buy new maps to be denied ranks/armours/whatever.

Jokeing, but I see it hard, Bungie never did it and we had much less armors in Reach, in Halo 4 there are really a lot of armors, why should they lose time on making others new?
It’s more possible that they will make some new skin.
Yeah, it’s easy to add new armour. They could even make it so you have to complete new commendations to get it.
It is possible. They would download with the update when you first access Halo 4 after downloading the map pack. But, I highly doubt it will happen. It’s very inconvenient and troublesome to add new armor through networking. Also, loading that armor will take more bandwidth on the server for each player who is wearing it. I doubt 343 will sacrifice connection speed for some flare.
It’s possible to add armor but I doubt they will. I haven’t seen the armor you’re talking about. link? I know people modded the Councilor and Honor Guard elites in Halo 2, so it IS possible, just not likely.

I would love Mark V to make an appearance, it was always my 1st choice 2nd was Eva.
I don’t believe there would be any negative effects on bandwidth depending on armor. I remember when the first map-pack for BF3 came out there was new gun’s etc… Nothing was wrong with it and players weren’t having trouble with it, I can’t see the possibility of 343 having trouble with it either.
