It seems that most players are torn between either liking Halo 5’s armor system or hating it. I was thinking of a way to possibly make everyone happy.
Lot’s of people enjoyed Halo Reach’s armor system, not only for its armor, but it seems for the amount that you could change about the armor. In my opinion, I did enjoy different variations of helmets and the robotic arms of reach.
I propose that as well as adding new types of armor with every update, 343 should also revisit other armor sets and give them variations, such as Scarred, Up Armored, etc.
Seeing as that was one of the major reasons why Halo: Reach’s armor was popular(Other than the general look of it), I think variations of Halo 5’s existing armor would be a great addition
I would like some new armor types that offer more protection for areas like the abdomen. I want to look like a powerful space marine who can punch holes through walls, not some kind of track athlete wearing spandex.
As far as the armor variants go, all I want is for it to be able to sort between recently-added/acquired items and by name as well.
IIRC, I’m about 31%(?) done on customization on general and I can already tell that scrolling through all of this is going to be tedious a few months down the line, never mind that they’re going to add more on top of it.
