I like the idea of new skins and such but seeing as they are doing it in such a money grabbing and stupid way ( making you buy halo toys ) I’ll pass.
I have nothing against the halo figures I actually had a few but I don’t feel that giving them weapon and armor skins is a good way to do it. Maybe 343 could do the right thing and let us EARN the new skins IN GAME.

It would be nice if 343i could confirm whether or not that’s the case.
I thought the skins might actually be separate models themselves (just using the original model as a starting point but saved as an entirely new model itself).
If that is the case then they will be adding new models to the game, which means they could in fact add completely new armor designs if they wanted too.
I maybe wrong on this though.
Getting the Didact one. I bought the Chief figure, so I feel it’s appropriate. Plus, the Venator skin looks awesome.
Chief, the Elite, and the Jackal are the ones I want for both collection’s sake and the skins.
I kind of wish there was a classic black BR on the skin list, but there’s already two other BR skins, so I’m fine with the DMR one we’re getting.

A black BR using the Halo 4 model would look incredibly awesome.

I’ve been looking for an excuse to get one of these halo figures, and now I have one! Scout is my favorite so I think I’ll be going with that. Venator looks awesome but the lights most likely won’t be orange and the didact figure will probably cost more.
will the refractive armor have that orange sort or visor on it or will it be white like the normal veteran armor?
I believe it’s been shown as white in gameplay

I can definitely confirm that the Venator Refractive skin does indeed have WHITE light on the visor. Here’s a video showing ALL the new McFarlane weapon/armour skins in the loadout screen (not in game using the custom game glitch, actually in the create a loadout menu).
