Are there any details relating to prices for these figures yet? Or is it too early to tell?
I’m expecting the Didact to be the most expensive - I believe it’s a Deluxe figure compared to the other standard figures, probably the reason why it will come with two codes - venator skin and suppressor skin.

lol, thats wat my girlfriend told me a few minutes ago. However, i do have the money to pay for it, but i’m just afraid of the price, especially the Didact. I have a feeling that’ll turn out to be a good $30 right there. For the rest, they’ll probably $14.99 or $19.99.

The only way to obtain the skins is to buy the Action Figures. However i’m guessing the prices will range from $14.99 to $19.99 plus tax. The Didact however, I have a feeling that’s gonna be $29.99 and for once that will probably be the only Figure I’ll keep just for the hell of it. Everything else, i’ll probably sell it.

I know its only through the figures, I was asking how much they cost. I’m always up for collectibles and I’ve been looking to add some Halo stuff to my collection and McFarlane toys are high quality. I’m a fan of his comic art too.

Great now we have to spend like 20 bucks just for a figure… I just wish theyd give us a whole pack of codes for like 600 ms points… If i were to buy figures id only get the Elite Ranger just so i can have a cammo for the Storm Rifle… And maybe just maybe the Spartan C.I.O. (Violet) and the Didact Figure… And maybe the scout… And the Chief…

These won’t even be available with the toys until roughly October. (Maybe earlier depending on when these ship out from the manufacturer.)
Given that we haven’t had an option to buy, through the marketplace, the exclusive skins that are already out there, I would think these aren’t going to be available either.
Not to worry though, no doubt these WILL be up for auction on eBay… But you’re probably better off buying the figures and getting the code anyway.
When the time comes, I may have codes to give away for these. I’m an editorial contact for McFarlane Toys which means I get advance knowledge of their Halo stuff, though I can’t release that info until they say it’s okay (having to sign non-disclosure agreements). Hopefully, McFarlane may pass along some codes to me to give away. If so, I’ll be doing that through my blog: halofanforlife.com

Given how much these would cost on the Marketplace anyway, as I mentioned above, you might as well just get the figures. If you don’t want the figs, you can sell them or better yet donate them. There are plenty of Children’s charities out there that would be happy to get free action figures.

You are correct. 343/MS have a deal with McFarlane Toys to create these skins to be sold along with the action figures. No doubt 343/MS will get some of the money from the sales of the figures, or more likely McFarlane has paid an extra licensing fee to have skins made to coincide with their figures.
This is more about networking the franchise as a whole. We still haven’t seen the pre-order skins available. So there is no reason to think these skins will be available on the marketplace. Certainly not well before the pre-order skins. Considering you have to pay nearly $4-5 for an Avatar skin, how much more do you think an actual in-game skin would cost? You’d be best to believe it would be more than that. So make it easy and just buy the figures. Honestly, that Didact figure…It’s the -Yoink!-.

OR you could look at it as getting 8 skins WITH the action figures. Those figures are well worth the price. Getting the skins is a BONUS.
The Didact is going to be about $30. It’s an AWESOME figure. AND you’ll get not one but TWO skins. One for armor, then other for the Suppressor. Those two skins are slick too. IMHO, it’s TOTALLY worth it for the figure AND those skins.
Again, if you’re just buying these for the codes and don’t want the figs, please, donate them to a children’s charity or your local women and children’s shelters. You can’t put a price on that. (If you do, you’re missing the point of donating.)
