There should be a game mode where you can fly Pelicans, Hornets, Banshees, Seraphs, Broadswords against enemy players and it’d be cool for this mode to happen
That would be cool, but a little annoying. There’s always the possibility of one team having better air vehicles and could cause more damage than the opposite teams.
It would be awesome
Yep, would be amazing
A space version would be welcome as well. Although, space battles have been mentioned by Greenskull in the article he wrote about visiting 343’s studio and getting to play the campaign.

“After getting the run-down, we were shown a brief campaign teaser. It moved so fast it was hard to point anything out. That being said, what my eyes feasted upon was jaw dropping: massive enemies, space battles, and more. I saw Hunters forming from worms (Lekgolo) on the ground, Banshees flying past a space station, and a flying Forerunner vehicle shooting at a massive covenant station (it almost looked like a mining rig). The scale was unlike anything we’ve seen in Halo, specifically the giant vehicle scene. There were vehicles flying around, Covenant shooting plasma through the air, and explosions illuminating the landscape. It was hard not to get excited. We watched it twice. I am very certain that the space banshee scene was a playable experience. Halo 5: Space Battles. Colour me hyped. A new enemy type was briefly shown called the Promethean Soldier. It’s a more human-like enemy that moves fast and looks to be a handful to deal with.”
Anyway, enough about campaign, an aerial/space multiplayer game mode would be awesome. Every aerial vehicle ever made ever would have to be featured. It would be sort of like War Thunder/World of Warplanes.

There’d be a hangar where you fly out and there’d be the REQ system so when the game starts everyone starts off with the same vehicle, Pelican, Banshee and more. But as the battle progresses, you’ll be earning REQ points to upgrade your vehicles and help out you team
Damn, here I thought this thread was going to be about a new game mode featuring the Little Mermaid.
I’ve though about this many times, as it would be fun. But, Halo 4 forge was kinda limited in aerial vehicles (Only the Banshee, which was a glass jet in my book) It would also be cool to have a Seraph/Sabre or Seraph/Longsword fights. Also Hornet/Banshee, Pelican/Phantom. Longshot, I know, but a guy can dream.

Thank you for being the only other one to catch that.
As for an aerial type of combat…not a big deal to me. I love to fly in Halo, but most ship-to-ship combat has been pretty disinteresting. It’s great for some campaign moments, though I think Reach was the only one to really nail flight-centric combat. Flying the Pelican in Shutdown was ultimately disappointing because of the ship controls and the necessary range of the encounters.

I’m pretty sure that was in the campaign, which in no way guarantees that it’ll be in the multiplayer too.
