I was on the fence to buy the Voices of War pack but realised there’s no Auntie Dot :(. I’m so used to her voice in Halo Reach but I guess nostalgia hit too hard. It would be great to have other iconic voices like Sergeant Johnson, Cortana in a new Voices of War pack hopefully

Given that the voice actor strike ended, another announcer pack could be feasible, but at this point in Halo 5’s lifespan I really doubt it. Your best bet now (in my opinion) is to wait and hope that Halo 6 includes more announcer options.

I can only see that happening if 343 plans to have alternate announcers from the beginning, so we’ve got to hope for that. If they aren’t included in the initial development budget, it is highly unlikely that they’d be available for no additional cost.

When people talk about how back when they got there friends together, ordered pizza and they played CE over LAN for hours and hours… I shake my head like "yup, I know what you mean, I had those nights too, so fun!!! I feel super old! LoL

I really only use them in warzone because I was just so sick of hearing palmers voice

the multiplayer is cannon now, so there wont be any announcers that are dead, such as Johnson or dot (i’m assuming she was destroyed on reach) nor will there be villains such as cortana, I think that making multiplayer cannon was a huge mistake, they self limited themselves with that move
I hope they don’t mix the original announcer with Palmer like they did in Halo 5. Let him do it the way he wants.
