How would you like a rifle in Halo 4 with adjustable firing functions for different gameplay scenarios?
In more detail, my idea is to have a versitle rifle with 3 firing functions aswell as a specific scope for each function, automatic, three-burst fire, and semi automatic. Each different function would have different ranges of efficency.
Automatic-No scope, very effiective at short range, high bullet spread, 12 bullets to kill, 8 bullets to drop shield and 4 bullets to kill, 20 bullet magazine, not headshot capable
3-Burst-2x scope, very effective at medium range, accurate bullet spread but not hitscan, 4 bursts to kill, 3 bursts to take out shield, 1 burts ti head to kill, 20 bullet magazine, headshot capable
Semi-Automatic-4x scope, very effective at long range, very accurate bullet spread hitscan, 6 shots to kill, 5 bullets to take out shields, 1 headshot to kill, headshot capable,15 round magazine, higher cailiber ammunition, (NOTE: Fires faster than DMR from Reach)
Basically three seperate firing functions in one rifle.
Note that this idea is open to change. Any suggestions or concerns would be greatly appreciated.
What do you think of the thought of this versitle rifle?
Should it have a place in Halo 4?
