I loved the line at the end! I hope she’s available as an AI in multiplayer
Definitely will be fun interacting with her and the pilot.
The dialogue seems entertaining as it was presented, but the character model and some of the facial expressions are terrible! I criticize this cause the AI should show off some curves and have sexual appeal/comedy, because the AI is a clone of Dr Halsey’s brain in which she had designed it to look good as she wished she looked that way. I imagine most people with an AI modeled after them would make alterations to look far more attractive than they really are.

On one hand, I do agree with you that I do miss things having a slightly more serious presentation and I miss the M rating and all that alien blood splatter as well.
On the other, I think it will be fun having this AI not be a complete copy of the OG Cortana. I prefer more serious as well, but having a kind of ‘noob’ Cortana who is still learning things and ‘growing’ into a more competent form might be fun if handled well.

Hey guys disregard this guy in all the threads he’s either a troll or a professional -Yoink-.
Anyone who says halo was ever serious is either trying to cause an argument or is blinded by nostalgia.
Cortana did drop him on his head in 2001 so that might be another explanation 
Its was only ever considered mature in the US the rest of the world have always seen it as a game for kids/YA and the weapon is great an Intentional innocent Cortana model and you are totally entitled to love her or even hate her. Just don’t feed the trolls or pretend halo games are adult military affairs. They are a fun space opera for all to enjoy!

I agree that she’s very likable and is a good substitute for Cortana, basically being a newer model with hints of nostalgia. No problem with her character model. All in all, very excited to dig into this.

I’m on the fence. I really don’t like the line where she said, maybe it’s friendly. That’s just beyond naive and stupid. Makes me wonder how many brutes you’ve killed before that happens for her to think, Oo, maybe this one’ll be friendly.

Would the game be more polished and be running better having been restricted to next gen and high end PCs?
Maybe.
But I’ll take the Halo Infinite that I’ve seen and experienced so far, if it means I’ll be playing with a larger population.
Restricting the game to the Series consoles would increase sales to a degree, but most people would opt to sit it out until they can get a new console.
Ergo, Infinite would make MS less money, meaning they would spend less money on maintaining the game, e.g. smaller expansions, and less often, etc.
So even though I’ll be playing on my Series X, ostracizing the last-gen players would have a lasting negative effect on me.
