New additions for Halo 4

1. Black techsuits. It amazes me that 343 has added brand-new armor customization options to Halo 4 such as Armor Effects and the Keystone helmet, and yet we still don’t have an option for black techsuits in the game. 343, make it happen.

2. Theater mode for Campaign & Spartan Ops. Halo 3 and Halo: Reach allow us to re-watch Campaign and Firefight missions in Theater mode, but Halo 4 doesn’t?

3. Halo 2: Anniversary content in Halo 4. Since the two games run on the same engine, it would be great if we could see some crossover content like what was done with Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. At the very least, I feel we should get the Halo 2 Battle Rifle for Custom Loadouts.

4: AI Bots in Custom Games. This is something that we should absolutely get for every game in the collection, but I think is especially essential for Halo 4 multiplayer since it’s easily the least popular multiplayer game on offer for MCC.

5. Master Chief’s Campaign armor in multiplayer. The Master Chief in Campaign has completely unique set of armor from the Mark VI that we get for beating Campaign on Legendary, including helmet, chest, shoulders, forearms, and legs. Why this was never made available in multiplayer for Halo 4 or Halo 5: Guardians, I have no idea, but the bottom line is there’s no reason not to add it.

To my understanding, the only reason they haven’t done black techsuits for Halo 4 is the lack of waist armor throwing the color and proportions out of wack. hopefully they can tie the Mark V waist to the black techsuit, but that might be a fair bit of work to do.

On another note, oddly enough H2A had both campaign chief and warrior armor in the files for spartans, but they never added them in fully. Been one of the big hopes they add it back in, alongside restoring some of the unused and Halo 4 carry over content in H2A’s multiplayer.

Are you talking about the black suits they wore in the movie “the fall of Reach”?

More like the Gen 2 techsuit Halo 3 has

My greatest fear is one of the two losing its identity with crossing content between 4 and 2. The visor colors would be a perfect fit, and Halo 4’s unused Revenant would be a perfect Spectre substitute, and the Active Camo from 4 could lead to some fun custom game shenanigans, but I’m wary regarding everything else.

As for the black techsuit, I’ve always thought allowing tertiary colors that modify the techsuit would be the optimal way to allow it, though Halo 4 doesn’t offer a black color if I recall correctly so I could be wrong.

If it is/was in H2A’s files (Halo 4 AR & Energy Sword, Warrior Armor & Mark VI [Mod], Rocket Hog & Wraith [2-seat], active camo module, damage boost, etc.) it should be completely fine for the most part. Some weapons getting shared would also be welcome since they operate unique to the existing weapons or were strange omissions to begin with (the Halo 4 Gravity Hammer being alongside H2A’s Brute Weaponry, the H2A Sentinel Beam replacing the unused/unfinished Bishop Beam for Halo 4, the H2A Brute Plasma Rifle and Silenced SMG expanding the Halo 4 Covenant and Human weapons, etc)

It also wouldn’t hurt to add a few things unused in 4 to H2A though, for instance the cut Forunner Burst-Shot and the Storm Revenant, since the former is useless in 4 as the boltshot exists, and the latter fills in perfectly for the Specter with how the vehicles are balanced in H2A.

The best part of the Gravity Hammer potentially being added to 2: Anniversary is that it could reuse the special Fist of Rukt model. While some weapon geometry is shared between 2: Anniversary and 4, like the beam rifle, any opportunity to reuse campaign assets is always welcome.

Honestly, I’d be fine with them just reusing the Halo 4 model with updated textures. Just having a gravity hammer to help diversify H2A’s custom game variety would be a massive improvement.
