new actionsack style game: assassins creed

here is my idea for a new custom game type for Halo 4 called assassins creed that will utilize all the new aspects such as Promethean vision and everyone having sprint.

how it would work: basically it would work like a game of juggernaut with one person being the assassin(juggernaut) who has to assassinate the other players without being killed themselves. if you kill the assassin you become the assassin just like a normal juggernaut game.

The assassin: one of the players would be the assassin. this player would be slightly faster than normal so they can get around maps quicker than other players. they would also have to be slightly weaker like 90-75% and do slightly less damage so they would have to focus more on sneaking around on maps. also there would be more focus (somehow i don’t know how yet) on getting assassinations.

other players would be same as normal players in the game except for a few tweaks in load outs.

load outs
normal players: load outs would be the same for normal players except they can NOT use Promethean vision

assassin load out: the assassin load out would have DMR or BR with most likely magnum.
also it would have Promethean vision and the increased recharge perk. the secondary perk would be either the sensor or awareness perk

this idea sounded better when i first thought of it but after getting it put down on paper so to speak i dont really know if i still do but maybe you guys will like it or be able to make it better

You make the juggernaut ridiculously hard to kill, give him a -1 for weapon kills and a 0 for melee kills and then +2 for assassinations. Normals get 0 for weapon kills, 0 for melee kills and +1 for assassinations.

Couldn’t you easily make this in the custom games options with the juggernaut gametype? I don’t particularly like your suggestion but it’d be possible to make in a custom game, already.

The problem is that, although I understand your idea, the name’s got to be changed. Halo is not Assassin’s Creed, so there might be some issues with that, and the concept is a bit too complicated. I think we should just stick with Halo being a FPS on matchmaking and leave Assassins in Forge/Custom Game Lobbies.

normals shouldnt have to worry about assassinations they should just worry about killing and i just figured make the juggernaut difficult to kill and fast and gets away easily, but does minimal damage which would make assassinations necessarily

OBVIOUSLY IT WOULD BE IN CUSTOMS!!! i dont know how you thought your comment was at all relevent i mean for christ sakes there is a gametype in Reach called left 4 dead… anger

What’s stopping normal players from killing each other and padding out their stats?

I agree that normals shouldn’t have to worry about assassinations, they just shouldn’t be rewarded for the typical juggernaut playstyle of “mob the juggernaut with gunfire until they go down” and then have 5 jug swaps followed by a single jug going from 0 to win.

Also, I’ve found in gametypes it’s much better to have rewards and actions have real consequences ie instead of making weapons weaker, you make kills with weapons worth nothing. That way if you still want to make weapons weaker that’s fine, but you’ve also just defanged that idiot who wants to run around shooting everything he sees just for the heck of it.
