Last night I played a single match of Alpha Zombies on Sword Base. I was the Last Man Standing in the first Round. “All Alone” did not bleep bloop. In the final round, I managed to headshot 3 Zombies in a row. “Top Shot” also did not bleep bloop. What’s going on here guys?
Some of you may say that I have to be on a Defiant or Anniversary Map to unlock them. Why? The only achievement from the Noble and Defiant maps that required you to be on a DLC map is “You Blew It Up!”. I got every other DLC achievement on non-DLC maps. I got “Cross-
Mappin’” and “Poppin’ & Lockin’” in the same match on Paradiso.
The Defiant Achievements could even be done in Custom Games if you used a Map and Gametype from Matchmaking. Note: I found out about it AFTER I got them legitimately. I did use this exploit for an old Silver Account though.
I decided to try this exploit for myself in a Custom Game using the same setup. No achievements popped. 343, what in the hell is going on here?! I won’t even want to play Reach until this is patched. (Mostly because of Anniversary, Assassin’s Creed, Saints Row, and Skyrim…)
I was able to unlock Top Shot, but Dive Bomber and From Hell’s Heart refuse to unlock!
Another thing, how are we supposed to unlock the All Alone achievement? As far as I know, there isn’t any way to play Infection on a Defiant map in Matchmaking. </3
I’m with you on that ever since the CEA stuff came out it has ruined every thing and if they’re going to put some more maps on reach make it free cause nobody wants to pay 1 map pack that cost 20$ and pay for it on the CEA game.
Seems that they are map tied, I have a different problem however, top shot and lisence to kill popped for me but the gamerscore hasn’t added to my total. Info plz 343!

Make sure you’re getting Beat Down medals and not Pummel Medals. If you do it right, you should get a Beat Down Medal and a Firebird Medal at the same time. Also, when somebody stick you, their grenade has to kill them and not a different teammate.

I’m having similar issues - Dive bomber, I got both the beat down medal and the jetpack medal when killing someone but no achievement. From Hell’s heart - I’ve been stuck them run into my sticker, we’ve both then died, a bunch of times. I have been playing on the anniversary maps so that is not the issue.
Even stranger accoding to B.net I’ve got from hell’s heart, but I don’t have License to Kill which I have unlocked on live. Also the gamescore on B.net is different on some achieves than it is on live.
What is going on? A response would be appreciated 343.
Update from my original post - just got Dive bomber after getting the beat down from behind medal and jetpack medal at the same time. Special thanks go out to the guy who was AFK.
So maybe it’s just that the descriptions on the achieves aren’t accurate enough.

use the anniversary disc to play FFA, its on there

But doesn’t Anniversary FFA only have Anniversary maps. You need a Defiant map, so the only possible way is in Living Dead with all players having Defiant DLC and Condemned being picked.
