Domination - Earn a total of 100 Legendary medals in matchmade games. It’s sounds like “F***k you, you’ll never complete our game”. It’ s just unfair to release achievement that rely on insane skill and luck for completionists like me who nearly completed game. (At least make Steaktacular counts toward this, cuz I have just 1 in progression from Perfection and nothing from Steaktaculars!!!) + Couple of other achievements, that require gamemods that you haven’t playlist for. Spartan Ops achievement for completing every chapter solo Legendary isn’t hard, but realy grindy and not fun at all. Horrible list overall - I am starting to regret that I bought this endless nightmare…
I agree. Spartan Ops is supposed to be co-operative, there are tons of enemies to slog through. But the achievement is to solo all 50 on legendary? That isn’t fun. Achievements can be painstakingly difficult but that’s just tedious.
And the multiplayer ones… they’re kind of a middle finger to anyone who cares about the achievements in this game. 500 objective medals with no dedicated objective playlist. 100 exterminations with no grifball and no way to even set up grifball maps in Halo 3. 500 grenade kills, 250 killjoys (which depend on the other player having a killing spree more than anything).
These are basically from the Gears of War school of achievement design. Think up something uninteresting and mundane, then make players do it until they can’t stand your game any more… These new achievements are spectacularly disappointing.

I am scared to see what they are. I haven’t played it today. So they added more multiplayer achievements? 
It’s just terrible, 343i should make something about it. I think no one would enjoy this achievement list. I like Halo MP, but this list is a huge joke!

I really want to do the spartan ops solo legendary achievement but it will be so -Yoinking!- boring and so grindy, only benefit being I get a -Yoink- ton of progress towards the 1000 kill Promethean achievements because they’re impossible on campaign. And -Yoink- the amount of medals needed for those new MP achievements, I like the tourist one for Halo 2 and just renamed for every game but not 500 GRENADE KILLS, 500 GRENADES. NOPE.
Spartan Ops in co-op is barely fun. There’s no real penalty, its just shoot stuff, die, and get back in there and shoot the rest of the stuff. Seen this map before? Good you’ll see it again on other ops. Enjoy.
Basically, "Play this game until Halo 7 comes out."
So so soooooooooooooo happy i don’t care about achievements, but for those of you who do, see it as a “Challenge Accepted!” situation as most people will not ever get 100% of the game/achievements.
You realize the whole point is to try and get people to keep playing? They’ve seen such a population drop from 4 that they’re desperately trying to keep people playing the game, especially since they’ve invested in servers, so they put out these ridiculous grind achievements.

The idiocy astounds me. You do know steaks count as a legendary medals, and you do not need 100 exterminations. Stop making excuses for laziness.

I agree and its a good idea but there are no objective only playlists some are rediculious when you take into account that everyone votes for slayer BR

Do you guys really need to get all the achievements? I mean, I know most of you guys complaining probably are 12 and have no social lives and/or girlfriends.

Steaks don’t count for me, I have 7 steaks and 1 perfection from Legendary medals, but progression tells me that I have only 1 Legendary medal.

I was was aiming for 100% completion, but I now have my doubts anyone ever will pull this off. Between the matchmaking problems and decline in player populations… I can’t even believe how horrendous these are. Halo 4 had a nice list I thought, but MCC is straight up mean. Just why!?
That’ll teach me to care about achievements I guess.
Spartan Ops was terrible and I wish they hadn’t given it achievements. I never want to play it ever again.

Same here my medals say im decently through some of the newer mm achievements but they are not registering in my progress bar
I love how I’ve done all missions now but my achievements say 98%, I don’t even know which one I’m missing too because they’re all done…sigh
