Heck, even a mission like the Library forces you to at least score one UNSC weapon kill before you can get a PP or PR. You’re not gonna succeed trying to Melee the right Flood to death while getting swarmed that hard.</mark>

In addition, I didn’t say it had to be on Legendary either, so the achievement is not that bad. If you know what you are doing and put time into it, the challenge can definitely be accomplished.

I’ve set out on these kinds of challenges before.
Halo CE can be done without Covie weapons, but not without UNSC ones (primarily because of the Library’s opening section, and the Warthog Run)
Halo 2 can only be done on Heroic or lower without UNSC ones (as Plasma Rifles/Pistols alone can NOT carry you through Cairo Station on Legendary, and you don’t get Needlers early enough), and can not be done without Covie ones (due to Banshee sections and some Arbiter missions not having any UNSC weapons on them)
Halo 3 can kind of be done with UNSC weapons only, have fun punching through 99% of Cortana though. And it is do-able with only Covie weapons, but difficult and very not-recommended due to a lack of Lasers/Rockets/Gauss Hogs/Tanks on vehicle heavy sections, and the need to jack a Banshee during the Hornet section. The first chunk of the game may seem hard, but Overcharges, Brute Shots, and Plasma Nades make it doable on Legendary.
Halo 4 can not be done without the use of non-human weapons due to Forerunner/Midnight except on very low difficulties. And cannot be done entirely with nonhuman weapons due to the Pelican and Broadsword sections.
Now you can argue that certain exceptions can be made, such as Warthog Splatters, Banshee/Hornet/Pelican/Broadsword kills not counting. But I still don’t think it’s worth an achievement so much as a personal challenge.
I’ve thought of a few more:
AXIOS!:
Kill a Hunter with one Magnum Shot in Halo CE, One Sniper Shot in Halo 2, One Spartan Laser shot in Halo 3, and by making one fall to his death in Halo 4.
The Return:
Re-retrace your steps by completing Assault on the Control Room, Two Betrayals, and Halo(3) on Legendary.
Bug Killer:
Squash some heavy machinery by completing Metropolis, The Storm, and Infinity on Legendary.
The Gauntlet:
Test your mettle by completing the Library, Quarantine Zone, and Cortana on Legendary.
Rock Anthems for Saving the World!:
Rock hard by completing Silent Cartographer, Metropolis, and Gravemind on Legendary.
This ain’t as fun as it looks, chief!:
Rescue Johnson by completing Halo(CE), The Great Journey, and Sierra 117 on Legendary.
