Sorry if these bugs aren’t new, I haven’t been looking at the forums at all lately
This first bug, if it is a bug, only happened when I went to the Halo 2 mission select screen. I’ve played several multiplayer matches and the bug never happened until I went to campaign. I’ve heard from many people that skulls with 0x multipliers turn off the ability to unlock Achievements in the campaigns. However, this does not seem to be the case. I completed Halo 2’s campaign the day this game came out and I used several 0x multiplier skulls. I didn’t receive any Achievements for completing the campaign or the individual missions themselves. Today, I decided I’m ready to start again on beating all the campaigns on Legendary, and next in line is Halo 2. When I went to the Halo 2 mission select screen, out of nowhere I was awarded all the Achievements for completing the individual missions and the campaign itself, as well as the Achievement for seeing every mission in original and remastered graphics (which I actually did, but the first time around, it got stuck at 50% complete after I finished the campaign), all this after over a month since I beat the campaign. Has this happened to anyone else? Did 343 make a change that allows Achievements to be rewarded even with 0x skulls or is this a bug? This would be nice to know before I start up the campaign and waste my time with skulls that block Achievements
The second bug, happened shortly after the first bug and had no sort of trigger. I’m sitting in the mission select lobby for Halo 2 while typing up the first bug when, out of nowhere, I unlocked 4 Achievements I know didn’t earn yet, each of them for completing 350, 400, 450, and 500 missions or multiplayer games. I know I did not earn these because I just got the Achievement for completing 300 missions or multiplayer games 2 days ago, and since then, I’ve not even played 20 matches. I did nothing to trigger this, I’m just sitting in the Halo 2 missions select screen. Has anyone else encountered this bug? It’s not exactly a bad bug unless I don’t get the nameplates along with the Achievements
