Is boosting the new Anniversary/Defiant Achievements with full parties and guests ban-able?
If by “guests” you mean “let’s all sign in extra controllers just because,” then yes. But if you have actual people playing then no, it’s not.

Good luck! I know some of them can be a real pain to find. I corralled a bunch of my friends and set up a game night where we just hunted down specific achievements. Biggest pain in the rear EVER!

Even if you are alone and have four controllers, if you care enough to not just play only with your main controller, but also get a few kills with the other controllers, you will be on the save side.
No banhammer will ever figure out what happened. Anyway, all you get even IF you are detected, is a temporary credit ban, so you can not earn credits for like a few days. Imo totally worth it.
Plus, boosting those achievements is completely legit, because of the fact that it is nearly impossible to get them WITHOUT boosting,
