so while i was serving my ban i was thinking of more juicy ideas for halo 4. then one came to me and i thought it was pretty cool!!! remember this is an ability so everyone spawns with it and can use it off spawn!!!
so this is my idea. the idea is called sheild burst. it basically means you fire your sheild at ur enemy. some of u may not understand wat i mean by this so ill explain more. it basically fires ur shelds at ur enemy. once you activate it ur sheilds start to glow (like when ur getting shot at but brighter) and after 2 seconds of that all of ur sheilds fire in front of u.
wat it does is it cause ur enemy (whos standing in front of u) sheilds to break and also his health gos down to orange bar (IT DOES NOT GO BACK UP) but it is very short range and it does hurt u. it also breaks ur sheilds but ur health goes down to yellow (IT DOES NOT GO BACK UP) and u get stunned for half a second and ur enemy gets stunned for 1 seconds
this would be good cuz its short range and also hurts u and ur enemy (u have the advantage though) also if u use this with less than red health and u activate it u have a chance of dying!!! also u can use this once per lifetime
Yeah, I am usually open to this sort of stuff, but I don’t really like this idea that much. Seems too " Im about to die…but I’m gonna take you with me" to me. Thanks for contributing the idea though! - maybe some other people might think otherwise.

No, it doesn’t. This is just something that everyone is going to use to get lame kills. Hence, a “last ditch effort”; a crutch. There is nothing skill-based about this. All you have to do is press a button, and even though you get killed, so does the other person.
Going with your reasoning, this is basically useless, because “it takes 2 seconds to kill people”, and 2 seconds to charge up this ability. You wouldn’t even get around to using it, but when you do (rarely), it will completely break gameplay.
