New 4sk BR is unfair

Now, don’t get me wrong I love the weapon tuning update. Im enjoying it a lot and like what they did with the guns.

It’s just one specific gun that’s still not making sense to me, because it’s completely unfair. I understand you wanted to make the BR 4sk but, I don’t understand (AT ALL) why you couldn’t let it kill on the 12th shot?

Because now that it kills on the 11th bullet, it’s cheap. You can easily catch someone that’s been hit once or twice, and easily 3s or 2s kill them with ease.

THAT wouldn’t happen in Halo 2/Halo 3.

Like I said I like the update in it’s entirety. It just seems like the whole “11 shot” thing is making this gun OP. Which don’t get me wrong, it should be the niche weapon in Halo. And should’ve always been a 4SK, but the way it’s working right now is granting kills to people who really don’t deserve it in the 1st place.

My thoughts anyway…

I’ve seen someone post about this already who said it is because of lag/network connection issues which sometimes wouldn’t register one of the shots which would have otherwise killed the target

Agreed. If I have a BR and someone rushes me with a DMR in close quarters, they deserve what they get.

Then how come the un-zoomed LR doesn’t kill on the 14th shot, and kills on the 15th?

Perhaps it was slightly modified for the 2-shot beat down?

Probably to balance it out with its scope being a wrecking machine.

It does kill on the 14th shot.

That is why it is 15 shot, not 13 like the oid BR.

No, automatics are not that great because i can have the boltshot in my loadout and just wait for the enemy to come around the corner.
If there was no boltshot they would be a lot more useful.

I’ve found that despite it’s buff. The BR outshines the Carbine pretty easily. Which is unfortunate, I was looking forward to the Carbine as a primary weapon. Maybe if the BR shot just a tiny bit slower. But still fast enough that the DMR was outmatched in close ranges.

I’ve seen a lot less boltshot use recently to be honest, and the AR does tend to wreck it up when you get too close to it.

It depends on the player. I have no problem using the boltshot against automatic weapon users at all . In my opinion BR+ boltshot is the best combo for small maps like adrift,abandon and simplex

That would probably be a fair assessment. There is a sweet spot where the Boltshot (I was about to call it the BS :D) can’t quite reach an AR user in time.
