New 1GB patch for MS store version - no performance improvements

Just a current update on the technical state of the game:

  • Vsync, DRS and frame pacing is still broken.

  • The first map load after updating crashed the game due to an error with it’s use of kernelbase.dll. Which tend to happen from time to time.

  • Using 10bit HDR in 4:2:2 causes severe artifacts in the splash and loading screens, but seem to work properly in-game. The automatic color output in Nvidias drivers which according to Windows spits out 8bit with dithering does not have this issue. Although I can’t tell if this is actually properly set to a 10bit subsampled output while running the game as it should though. @60Hz 4K via HDMI 2.0 that is.
    Likely because it’s using borderless fullscreen and not exclusive?

  • Lastly the framerate has seen no improvements at all on my rig.

Everyone who has the same issues should create a ticket for each individual issue listed.

Before anyone asks or questions it:
Using a 3070,3700x,16GB DDR4, Win 10 Pro 21H2 fully up-to-date with latest GeForce drivers from Dec 1st. Using a proper swap page not close to being exhausted after running the game for some time too.

Everyone is of course welcome to reply to this thread, but point is to get everyone to submit a ticket for each issue listed if you have it yourself and you haven’t already.
