Never to late for some Ideas...

  • Compass
Could it be possible for you 343 to be able to include the Compass read out similar if not identical to the the one used in Halo:Reach? I understand that there is Chatter from our Team Player’s Spartans, as well as Map Call Outs, but there have been many situations, especially on a new map that require a very simple to use yet very effective way of directing many if not everyone on the team and that’s where the Compass Comes in. Many of us have quite a bit of experience using a Compass, it’s in Real Life, in our Phones, in our Games and I believe it should make a return to the Halo Series so to further increase Team Play and Coordination.
  • Disable/Enable Team Colors & Color Blind Colors
Since Halo 1 we have been able to customize the colors of our Spartans, but since most of our games are made up of Team games, it is impossible to ever see your color, or the color of other Spartans unless we are to play a Rumble Pit game. Similar to how you are going to allow players to turn down, turn off, and on the ability to hear team chatter from team player’s Spartans, we should also have the ability for each gamer to decide whether or not Team colors, or Individual colors or even color Blind are displayed during team games.
The ability to enable and disable Team colors shouldn’t be a gametype by gametype basis, but rather a Universal setting that can be turned off or on via the Display Settings with in the game settings. The default settings should be as is Red vs. Blue with the gamer deciding whether they want to go in to the settings menu and change that. I have had many people complain about my idea in terms of how to tell the enemy apart as if our Teammates in a Halo game haven’t had Nav Points over their head since Halo 2. I don’t feel anything should change, the Radar already shows team mates as Yellow dots, And there are Service Numbers on top of team mates that is enough to tell the difference, especially if the player is making his or her own choice to disable team colors. But when it come to the color Blind setting research should be done to see what works great for them.

-Different Color Radar/Nav Point for Same Party members.
Another Option I believe we should have in Halo where we the gamer can decide to turn on or off should be the ability to enable or disable 1 different color for players with in our own Party. Similar to what we find in COD where our friends with in our party who we invited to play should show up on radar with a different color, along with a different color NAV point. Thinking about this as I Type, I think it would be excellent if it only becomes active if you join a game where Half the players on your team are people in your party. In a game of 4v4, a party of 2 on one team would have the ability to see who their friend is which would push team work through the window!.. on a general basis. In a 8v8 game a party of 4 on one team would have the same ability as I discribed before. I think this would be best as any other situation would involve more people and more team work and i’m not looking to change the entire Radar Readout to a whole different color for the entire team just trying to promote much tighter team work for old friends and new friends alike.

Hopefully these Ideas are good, hopefully you 343 have enough time to be able to experiment with these ideas see how they work and change them up to how you see fit. I doubt i’ll see any of these make it to the final release, but it would be a Lie to say these Idea’s aren’t good in being able to provide tigher team work for everyone in general.

I think it’s too late at this point in development. Sorry bro maybe in another game
