I miss Halo: Reach sniping.

the bullet magnetism on the halo 4 sniper is limited.

I just hate the Sniper in this game. I’d much rather get knocked out of scope if I get shot rather than just having my reticle shoot up in the air. I’m not at all saying Reach sniping took skill, but at least the sniper wasn’t awful itself.
And this post was mainly about the maps. All Big team maps except for Solace. Terrible selection. It’s like Hemorrhage for Reach except every damn game now.
Halo 4 sniping does feel really weird. I hope I get used to it, but I also dislike the crazy kickback. I’d like to try Snipers with the Beam Rifle instead.
Reach sniping took skill. Halo 3’s definition of sniping skill was mastering broken bullet physics.
Reach was the epitome of Halo Sniping. Hit Scan + Responsive Sniper = OOO MAMA.
Yeah, it definitely would be better if your aim gets knocked off. Halo 4 just makes sniping too easy.

If that’s the case, why not make all weapons harder to use? Why stop with just the Sniper?
The kick/flinch is not good for snipers.
The way it is now it more efficient to get a quick body shot and a follow up shot then to get a headshot. The first shot renders them useless for a few seconds, which is more than enough time to get a second shot in before they can even see you again.
Many times I’ve had someone in a headshot or just about to headshot them only to be bodyshot making my target go way off leaving them an easy second shot. This is rewarding bodyshots over the harder headshot and is just plain wrong in a sniper gametype. This to me is game-braking in snipers.
