Never tell me the odds

I only need two achievements left on this game, and this is the harder one. Any tips? Is anyone a H1 warthog pro that could help me with this?! Pleaseeeee!

I think I am a good driver at Halo, but I’m not Gold, so I can’t help you

Wrong forum

I haven’t got this achievement yet either. During my Legendary run I finished with 58 seconds left, rather than the 60 you need.

Just keep driving and try not to flip over. When you get to the part when the pelican gets shot down just keep driving. It saves a lot of time.

Title is a reference to Han Solo, i see what you did thar 343. In Empire Strikes Back when 3-CPO tells him the odds of successfully navigating through an asteroid field in which he replies “Never tell me the odds!”

Which is a fitting name for an achievement since getting off the Autumn before it blows is quite a feat with a very low survival rate. No Cortana, no matter what we do, we will NOT make THAT jump.

Bit of a geek knowing that but eh lol. Some might not notice, especially if they weren’t around when Star Wars was big.

I would consider myself a “Pro” lol =P

Here are some tips-

Try to not go off of jumps, except for the two that are mandatory.

Obviously skip the Fohammer Pelican part.

Take the tunnel short cuts, they save quite a bit of time.

While going off of the big jumps, looking all the way up will help with the Warthog flipping.

When you get to the end, go left and bypass the battle.

RUN!

So i’ve actually completed this both ways and still nothing: Do you have to finish with more than 1 minute left or less than 1 minute left?

i too am an mlg 1337 pro and found it quite easy but the library achievements are whats getting me

just use the shortcuts and skip the foehammer
also helps not to flip

More than 1 minute remaining on Legendary.

I did them both at once on my first try:-P
But I used to play this level quite a bit back in the live-less days.
Oh, and in the windy turns with pillars in the middle, the ramps alternate sides. Make sure you take the flat ones:)
