Never Recieved ODST Code

Hello,

Can someone in support contact me. I purchased Halo: MCC on 11/11/14 and have not received a code for the ODST content.

Thank you.

Where did you purchase from?

You need to have played MCC while connected to xbox live, before December 19th, to be eligible. Check the compensation FAQ link in my signature for more details

So even though I pre-ordered it on the Xbox One Store, because I didn’t play it until the new year means that I am not eligible? Right?

So a person that rented H:MCC on Gamefly gets ODST for free, but someone that has owned the game since it launched, but didn’t have the time to play it, gets screwed? Right?

I pre-ordered it thru Xbox Live…

If you didn’t actually play the game, while connected to Xbox live, before December 19th then no, goin by the details 343 have released you don’t qualify to get it for free. If you wanted to query that further, I would send a message to B is for Bravo. You can always pick it up on the store for $5

Yup.
Pretty much at this point, 343 and Microsoft have both screwed everyone who bought it early, but didn’t play it until later, and those who got it for Christmas and played it on the 24th, 25th or 26th.
The reason the 19th date was chosen was to essentially ‘money-grab’. In this, 343 and Microsoft wouldn’t “lose money” by giving codes to the bulk of players who got it for Christmas.
Complete BS on their part, and I will in no way pay for this DLC, even if it is only $5.
