I installed the advanced promotional req pack to get lockes armor from the gamestop preorder but I never got the pack in game and the armor isn’t unlocked
There is a widespread issue with REQ Pack DLC not redeeming correctly at the moment that 343 is seemingly ignoring.Just look at all the other users starting threads about having issues on a support forum with no actual support being offered.
All I can suggest is that you and other people affected by the REQ pack DLC not redeeming correctly is to make a post on the official Halo Facebook and Twitter accounts to increase public visibility of this issue so that someone at 343 takes notice.
You can also try calling Xbox Support but they will have you run some standard troubleshooting procedures with your console (ie power cycling etc) which does nothing to address this particular issue and then end up directing you back to this Support Forum where nobody from 343 is actually offering support. However, if enough people call Xbox Support and complain the issue will eventually be escalated and hopefully the problem can be addressed.

Monitors are volunteers. Unless you have spoken to each of them and they told you they have not reported anything, you should not post items that assume otherwise. The support team does monitor the support threads and although it is rare, they do respond.

Monitors don’t have a direct line to 343i. They have only the same methods of communicating with 343i as you and me.

When did you use the code?
In another post a user commented that these promotional codes have an expiration date, so these codes are no longer valid. But you can get the helmet and armor using req pack, no problem.

I was the one that originally made that comment about possible expiry dates and emphasised that it was purely speculation on my part. Nonetheless, no validity dates were mentioned on documentation of product packaging so continuing to sell products that display an offer that no longer works is false advertising.

I see, then maybe they were products that already had and that come with the promotional codes of the launch date of the game.
But they should warn at least that those promotional codes are no longer working or not. But still the good thing is that the helmet can be obtained in the req pack and was not exclusive of the code.

If a code expires you can’t redeem it, it’s listed as invalid, had that happen before on a few things

Exactly. The codes are still redeeming through Xbox Live as per normal and will forever be a part of your profile’s download history for future use but they are not activating as either Unopened Requisition Packs or items already in your inventory in-game or on the Waypoint website.
This proves that the issue is on 343 Industries game servers management of appropriate DLC, not Microsoft and Xbox Live.
