Never received an invite

Never received an invite because of an outdated DxDiag file, the file had a GTX 960 from 2 years ago, I now have an RTX 2060, I’ve seen many people that have had the same issue after scouring the forums and twitter ALL day. Unfortunately it was never truly addressed from the devs that people with 900 series graphics cards in their DxDiag’s were gonna excluded from this flight aside from a single reddit post and a few forum posts here and there (which wasn’t 100% confirmed intel). I’m not even mad that I dont get to participate, just slightly disappointed, if it was addressed by the dev’s properly I wouldn’t be feeling any resentment or sadness (in fact I would see it as 100% my own mistake), however, the fact that people were excluded because of this without any true warning (without having to research for hours), despite them saying “everyone registered before September 13th would be invited”, is scummy to say the least. I’m usually not a negative person and I know it isn’t 100% their fault for not coming out and saying something, but, I and a few others where definitely looking forward to this, and because of a slight mistake on behalf of something that wasn’t entirely clarified prior to September 13th brought a damper on our weekends.

(Just venting my anger dont take seriously, I’m not actually that mad I just gotta get it off my chest to feel a little bit better):
I’ve been a Halo Insider for YEARS. Since the first MCC reach flights, I didnt receive and invite to the first Infinite flight (probably just bad luck, prior to DxDiag / 900 series card issues) and now I wont be able to enjoy the second Infinite flight because of (DxDiag mistake / 900 series card issues). Just disappointed is all. I feel quite a bit better now that ive vented a bit, I know there’s still a high chance I’ll be able to play next weekend for btb, just like I said, 3 times at this point, disappointing.

trying to move this up so maybe a monitor or dev will see this.

Have you tried clicking your name in the top right of the waypoint website > Go to Halo Insider > Scroll to the bottom to find your steam key > Copy and paste key into steam (In steam click games tab then activate product)

Hopefully a key is hiding in there for you, If not and you have missed out on a key because of the outdated file then thats pretty lame.

Bro the same thing happen to me now.
2 Years Ago i got a gtx 970. Maked my dxdiag file and uploaded it. now i got a 2080ti and i forgot to update this freaking dxdiag file -.-
so know i don’t got an invite to and im ultra mad -.-

I bet this is why I didn’t get anything, as I did run a 900 series card a long time ago.

Would have been sensible to send out some notification, consiidering how long it’s been since people originally registered.

I updated to an rx 6600xt from my gtx 970. I’m guessing mine is the same reason you haven’t been invited.

Yeah it’s definitely not hiding there, I checked before making this post and I’ve checked 100 times since then lmao
