I hate that I have to say this before speaking my mind because I know so many people will take this the wrong way but this is NOT something I blame 343i for. I don’t blame the entire community either but a select few have completely ruined Warzone for me. Back in it’s early days this was my favorite playlist and game mode but now seeing what it has become I refuse to be fodder for some “Need Achilles” farming company.
I know 343i has worked hard to resolve this and I know not everyone in the community is a killwhoring farming sack of sheet, but all in all, that has been my experience most of the time. I played enough matches and have given it plently of chances but it’s time I pull the plug. I refuse to play Warzone now solely to preserve what sanity I have left. I don’t play Halo to be angry, I play to de-stress, to escape life for a good few hours, not to “git guude”, The last thing I need is to be angry while playing my favorite game.
So let Halo 5s Warzone be a lesson and stepping stone in the future. If you can remedy this farming problem permemtaly I’ll give it a try but till I see something big change, I’m done with Warzone, and will not be touching it ever again. (I’ll play firefight still)
And as horrible as this may sound, for anyone who will still play Warzone fairly, just a tip?
If you refuse to quit, just hide in the back of the base and defend yourself, not the core. Don’t feed these people kills.

Yeah i hate it when a group of people ruin a game.
I haven’t been farmed in a while, but I have been destroyed by another team. It sucks that some are still experiencing farming.

Your service record doesn’t reflect your claim IMO. Your last warzone game you lost 1000 to 300 something points and the game lasted just 16 minutes. That sounds like just a bad beat to me, not farming at all. Also I went back over a months worth of games and in the handful of warzone games you played I only saw one that may have been a “farmed” game. You won quite a few turbos as well. Being farmed can be frustrating but it doesn’t happen near as often as some claim IMO.
As farming will never be permanently solved in any game I think, 343I didn’t help in this area for there requirements to get Achilles and some Commendations. Achilles all but encouraged farming. 343I had the right idea with it, but didn’t think it threw. Commendations should not be vehicle, weapon nor playlist specific either. You literally have kids right now playing warzone that all they’re doing is killing Marines just for Achilles, they’re not even playing the match which in doing so are putting their team at a disadvantage. That’s just ridiculous! It’s right up there with get X kills with the Plasma Pistol from Halo 4.
It’s things like this that encourage farming but like I said you’ll never fully get rid of it, one can only minimize it.
I got a hate message from some company leader for destroying the enemy core, he said it was “too early” and that he and his guys were trying to farm. I hate people like that when I took my company into WZ we never farmed or at least we weren’t trying to, we’d fight for the bases, hold them down, cause the enemy team to pull back, and then we’d go after them. We’d go for the core not sit there and allow them to retake a base over and over just for the kills
Though it is or was common to farm in griffball
I can never bring my self to play it a lot any more partly due to unbalanced matchmaking.

I think I was guilty of farming during this one recent Warzone match I was in; while the REQ blackout was going amok on the servers, I was lucky enough to retain my stuff during this one match on Darkstar. At the moment I hit Level 4, I whipped out a normal Wasp + Automedic (which is an excellent Wheelman substitute) and tore up anyone outside our armories. We had a triple cap, and I was buzzing around the enemy home base just being a pain in the rear.
We soon destroyed the enemy core, and we won 1000 - 96.
I would highly recommend the social playlists if you have no desire to ‘get good’ and ‘rank up’ and you’re mostly a solo queue guy (I’m in same boat).
As time has passed, Big Team Battle has gotten much more ‘social’ and less sweaty. Sure, you’ll run into teams here and there and get absolutely stomped, but per my experience, it’s much less painful and lopsided than Warzone at this point in Halo 5s life cycle.
It’s gotten worse as the game has gotten older but you were probably playing with a group on the other team. They always tend to do that and it does ruin the game. I mostly play WZFF now just because of that problem, or even when you are paired up with a team like that, I always seem to get the randoms that just like to run into a room of 5 by themselves and die and not accomplish anything in the match, coming from a very non-competetive player.

Your are certainly correct about Warzone turbo. I love that take of Warzone and Assault is also a favorite of mine but one only is brought in on certain occasions and assault has a non-existent player count (at least when I am on)
And maybe some can get into great matches for Warzone still, but my experience (just in basic Warzone) has been aweful. I can take a loss, but I can’t take farming. I have plenty of clips saved documenting this. And have one of my last game. Your not wrong in your claims but this has been solely just my experience and perspective.
I have always been frustrated by armors and achievements that encourage players to farm things that do not pertain to the game objectives itself.

Oh I love social. I still will play Halo 5 just not Warzone. BTB can be sweaty at times (I solo que a lot) but I truly hope it’s relaxed a bit now.
When I play with my mates, usually 2 others, we play for fun in warzone since we are extremely average. We have been farmed many times so we try to play warzone off hours. It helps with the farming.
Compared to other games it is so terrible; must not be enough players to put 24 solo together ; or 6 and 4 and 2 etc; so why do I ; get matched against full squads; they don’t adjust for communicating fireteams; bless their hearts; guess we have to be pro to play this game as destiny makes it extinct(they adjust for firetemas and show your teammates in a different color on radar); guess they don’t need the money
ps please fix the terrible terrible(yes twice) spawn; if my base has shields; please spawn me inside; do you guys even play the game???

No Worries. I’ll add you up. I’m a new YouTuber Called “The Halo Enthusiast” I want to help people play halo and enjoy the game more together. It makes me sad when I hear people are getting frustrated with the game. Were see if we can turn some games around. Getting killed in warzone happens a lot to me too, but I think with communication and strategy we can minimize our butts getting whipped, and start doing some whipping of our own!

It’s definitely not as fun as it used to be nonone try’s to core that she why I prefer assault its sharp and quick and you rarely get spawn trapped and at least if you’ve get flogged they core you and it’s over
